My expectations were already pretty high from the various screenshots and previews I had seen, but the actual game is way prettier than I had hoped. The Xen in particular was way about anything I had expected. Beautifully put together with visuals and music.

The game allows you to play in your own tempo, with various difficulties, start challenges and locations to start. It also allows you to play specific scenarios made by the developers, yourself or other players from the workshop. And while we're at the topic, it has full mod support, allowing you to completely change the gameplay to your own liking.

I played through this on the hardest difficulty and once more with perma-death on a lower difficulty. It was difficult and frustrating at times, a real challenge, but I had fun none the less. I normally don't play top-down games, but this was a pleasant experience.
Below is categories of the game, given a score from 1-10 and a short sentence to accompanying them.

Gameplay, graphics and design....................: 6 - Plenty of gore, character needs like hunger and etc, difficult.
Story, interactions and informations.............: 5 - Notes with back-story and few cutscenes.
Replayability, randomness and repetitivity....: 7 - Randomized levels, mutating enemies and events throughout the game.

I found myself playing this for the first time, then after some time, I minimized the game and realized that I had been playing for 12 hours straight.

This game is giving me a lot of flashbacks to Theme Hospital for some reason, and that's amazing, considering I loved that game too!

This game is simply amazing. The story is great, but also very sad. It will probably make everyone who puts themselves into the game emotionally touched.
Also, the soundtrack is just amazing. I completed the game a long time ago, but I'm still listening to the soundtrack to this day.
I really, really recommend this game to everyone who will give it a chance. It might be 2D, but trust me, you will find out that 2D games, can be just as good as 3D games.

It might be a old game, but the story, the action, the intensitivity, is awesome.
Also, it gives some really useful knowledge about what Half-Life really is about, the reasons and causes of the universe. This game, is highly recommended.

Left 4 Dead 2... I would recomment this, more that I recommented Left 4 Dead 1.
Hours of fun and different game each time you play it.
Versus mode, so you can play as either survivors or zombies.
Realism campaign/versus, makes i A LOT harder to be survivors, because you are unable to see the aura around the other players.
Mutant gamemode, that let you play different gamemodes each week.
Left 4 Dead 2 is a totally, epic, addicting, awesome game, much better that L4D1, but the maps are not as dark and scary as L4D1, but it includes the maps and characters from L4D1, so thats awesome ^_^

If you liked playing Amnesia, then you GOTTA try this! This is so awesome, with a good story in it.

Half-life 2 should be explored by all gamers, it's basically a must-play. The storyline and graphics is amazing, especailly considering it's time of development.
I have played through the Half-life games over and over, the action and story is something you won't just forget, especially the characters, which you will most likely bind yourself with. An example of that would be Alyx Vance.

I really recommend this game. Some people have said to me "It doesn't really look that good" or "I played 5 minutes of it and it's boring", to all of them I have said "Give it a chance, you will come to like it" and I've never heard anyone come back to me saying it was bad, in fact, I've only gotten positive responds back, like people thanking me for recommending the game to them.

One of the greatest games ever made. If I was to rate it, then I would give it a huge 10/10.
And the episodes coming after it will make you even more interested in the universe of Half-life.
