Stalker 2 only reminds of the past, but does not evoke real nostalgia.

The beeping of the detector, ambient sounds, mutants, the first encounter with a bloodsucker in years, stories shared around a campfire—all of it brings back memories of the Zone. Yet, the magic and atmosphere I felt in 2007 are nowhere to be found.

Perhaps it’s not the game itself but my perception that has changed. Back then, the Zone was captivating in its novelty. Now, after countless games and books set in the same universe, achieving that same impact is much harder.

Atmosphere is a feeling born from the intersection of time, context, and personal experience; it cannot be perfectly recreated.

The game is well made, but you shouldn't expect anything new from it. Everyone sees Stalker in their own way: just as different authors describe the Zone differently in books, so the game is perceived by everyone individually.

Can You Die From Salmonella? Yes.

You can play but the game is not the same with the advent of fashion hats , taunts and so on.
