Dr. Sveen is a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology. He provides comprehensive medical eye care and has a special interest in No-stitch, Small Incision Cataract Surgery.

He is a native of Upstate New York, and a graduate of Dartmouth College. He completed his medical education and residency in Ophthalmology at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse.

Dr. Sveen has been practicing in Central New York since 1997 and has experience in private practice and hospital-based ophthalmology. He is on staff at Crouse Hospital and SUNY Upstate Medical Center, where he holds a position as Clinical Instructor. He continues to work at the VA Medical Center in Syracuse where he is active in teaching ophthalmology residents in medical and surgical eye care.
