this game has so much potential even though it just came out, but it feels like more of a proof-of-concept early alpha rather than an early access beta.

devs seem to be super communicative with the playerbase and are constantly on top of the game, bug fixes and everything

could be one of 2022's most entertaining casual titles to play with friends. looking forward to seeing this neat little animal crossing/rust mashup grow.

not an accurate simulator.

there's supposed to be some asswipe who asks you to make their drink "stronger" instead of asking for a double.

there's no mode where you stand around for 10 hours only pouring draft beers.

only accurate part is that you can't sit down whatsoever.

Playing this game while high and out of your mind is an experience.

Worth the full price.

This game is good and the only reason I'm writing this review is because my buddy Scott says he's not a fan of it.

Transphobic developers.

There is an in-game car modification shop named "TransFender."

There is a subtitle underneath its logo which reads, "BODY SWAP SHOP."

Some of the prices in the TransFender mod shops are noticeably more expensive than prices from other mod shops on the map.

There is a list of hard-coded phrases you can use to get ghosts to interact with you. You can insult the ghosts to trigger aggressive attacks.

None of these phrases include racist, homophobic, transphobic, or xenophobic remarks.

I will not tolerate politics in my video games.

During a certain point of this game's development, Duke was originally intended to go through the game with a sidekick in the form of a gay robot.

The robot would be horrifically sacrificed for the greater good by being destroyed.
