Early Access Review
I played earlier in the beta and burned out in the later game when I found building at scale to be too painful. But now given that the devs have added blueprints and better copy+paste abilities, late game is really fun, which makes this competitive with Factorio. The game is absolutely beautiful to play, an interstellar factory has never felt so satisfying and cool to look at!

The combos in this game are actually crazy. It's got a really fun power curve, the games you win feel absolutely awesome by the end

Really solid roguelike experience, all wrapped up in a really cool looking and humorous world that keeps you entertained for the in between moments.

Cool combination of Clash Royale style gameplay and more traditional RTS aspects. There are a ton of in-app purchase options but it is still a fun game for F2P players

Gotta say, this is a really great way to play Terraforming Mars by yourself! I wish the animations could be sped up even more, but this definitely beats getting the box out and setting up. Terraforming Mars is a really great board game, and that's exactly what you get with this digital edition. I haven't tried multiplayer online so can't speak to the bugs that some other users are complaining about there.

The interface is a little scary at first because there is so much going on, but if you want a Civilization-style experience in space, with all the bells and whistles of a true 4X game, Stellaris is it! Really fun

It's a pretty great combination of mechanics -- roguelike, old school turn based RPG fighting, and board game style hex grid map exploration. They work really well together, and the difficulty can ramp up pretty damn high if you like a tough challenge. I don't think it's infinitely replayable, as the variety of items is not huge, but I've definitely gotten my money's worth. Bunch of fun both solo and multiplayer.

I never really gave TTS a shot until the pandemic hit. Gotta say, it's really helping keep me sane. I'm a big board gamer in normal life, and TTS does a really great job of giving modders the tools to recreate boardgames in a virtual space. You still get to move the pieces around, still get to count up your score, still get to look around the table at what other players are doing. The controls take a little getting used to, but once you're used to it, TTS + voice (and video) chat really does come pretty close to IRL game nights.

I tried this game out shortly after it was initially released, had a ton of fun with the small amount of scenarios it had at the time, got about 40 hours out of it before getting a little tired of the content. Just downloaded it again to see all the new stuff, and I'm super pumped about it! There's a campaign and everything now, so definitely worth revisiting again. Really fun, you can have a more casual time by pausing the game all the time, or really treat it like an RTS where you don't pause at all, or anywhere in between. Also love the zombie theme. Well done!
