I've enjoyed every Fromsoft game I've played until this one. The pacing is just terrible. It takes the slow, methodical gameplay of previous games and turns it into an endless sprint because of how fast the circle moves. You can't take time to explore. You can't take time to even look at your loot. You can't afford to lose fights. Just sprint to the next POI.

Single player is horribly balanced to the point of being nearly unplayable. Multiplayer is absolute chaos unless you have two friends with voice chat to play with. There is no in-game voice or text chat so you're going to have to hope that your teammates engage with the ping system. Even then, you have no way to truly strategize with your team unless you're playing with a pre-established group. If someone decides to hoard loot or run off on their own that's just too bad for you.

Performance is also awful. I have a 4070 TI Super, 32 gigs of ram, and an i9 14900k. I was regularly dropping frames to the point it was impacting gameplay during fights.

I've decided to refund the game for the time being. I may check it out after a few updates or if I'm able to get it at a deep discount eventually. The premise isn't terrible but nearly every system and mechanic has been implemented terribly.

Day 1- 150 bucks to look at the login button. 10/10 launch.

Day 2- 150 bucks for a game that can't handle more than 15k people online at a time, but now you can look at queue that kicks you out when it counts all the way down. Huge improvement.

Day 3- I get told when trying to log in that they're at capacity despite having only 15k people online, most of which are probably looking at the same screen I am. The broken queue has left us :( Don't worry, you can still buy the 150 dollar founders pack though.

I've refunded and I'm done with this game. The developers clearly have no business releasing an always online game if they can't handle the relatively low number of players they're getting. Please stay away. Even if they fix this issues I promise you they're going to have a lot more down the road. The game is DOA and you're better off spending your time and money elsewhere.

They added exp boosters. You know it's going to get worse from here.

The online is full of hackers. I haven't entered one activity that didn't have a hacker and rockstar doesn't do anything.

Why worry about nerfing fun builds when your game barley functions?

Too many bugs. It's non-stop and often time's game breaking. I've lost one play through all together because I'm stuck in camp and I can't sleep without it crashing and I can't leave camp without sleeping. Some day, this will probably be an amazing game but this was released too early, even for early access.

I'm happy Stan Lee didn't have to see this. I got this for free and I feel like I got ripped off.
