I very rarely binge any games, but NORCO made the cut. It could have done without the quicktime event-ish fights, but I didn't mind them. The depth and length were pretty Goldilocks level fit for me (a bit less than nine hours to complete) although I do understand why some feel that the game is intentionally padded with filler to stretch the playtime. Despite the surreal setting and story, the internal logic and puzzles are congruent, which make it a relatively easy solve. With the built-in gameplay aids I doubt anybody would ever get stuck, while allowing everyone to take only as much advantage of them as they feel comfortable with.

Characters and locations feel thin at times, even if everything is woven together nicely, but I enjoyed the trippyness and the mystery of the whole so much more that it didn't bother me in the slightest. Being able to just move forward with clear enough pointers allowed me to focus on the text, putting the pieces together, and trying to guess where the story would take me next. 4/5, would probably play through again, even if just for the missed achievements.

No need for deep analysis, the original hat game. Awesome for LAN parties, which is the way I've mostly played the game. Very well balanced and suitable even for such a casual player as I am. Go and play, preferrably with friends :-)
