One of the most original games of its time. I especially recommend it if you're into Quake and other old school arena shooters, but this is like if Quake took LSD. Weirdly enough, the thing it reminds of me the most is the MGE mod in TF2.

Going the 1v1 route is extremely interesting, lowers the frustration factor A LOT (there's nobody to blame but yourself if you lose a 1v1), and overall, even for someone who isn't used to very fast paced shooters such as this one, the controls are intuitive enough for beginners to get into while still having a seemingly very high skill ceiling.

Due to how out there it is, I recommend you play this as fast as you can if it looks like it might interest you. I don't know how long its relative popularity is gonna last, sadly.

Overall, a truly creative take on a genre that REALLY needed new life breathed into it. Extreme, EXTREME recommendation.

Been playing on and off since the original release in 2016 (1k+ hours on Bnet). All the charm has gone. The current meta is has been a mess since even before OW2's release, the release itself was a disaster as many of you know.

However, if you're used to the game, it still can be fun. I just recommend you avoid it if you're looking for a coherent, competitive experience. As a casual shooter, it still has fun potential. But however, OW's decline has been saddening to say the least.

BRING BACK LOADOUT

At the time this was one of the, if not THE most fun multiplayer third person shooter available. Especially with how popular games like fortnite are these days, Loadout has a decent shot at revival.

Such a travesty that the servers were shut down. If any game dev is reading this, that's why you allow custom servers for your online games.

8/10 got me into Alan Watts and fueled my existantial depression.

Friendly reminder that this came out over a year ago and we're still missing perks and maps.
Meanwhile the game is trying to pull off some CSGO or TF2 kinda microtransaction ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (which they added just a few months after early acess release mind you) and tripwire is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ on their fanbase.

The gameplay is good, fluid, and let's be honest pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun even if i personally preffered the "raw" feel of the original Killing Floor, the game looks really good, be it the gore, weapon animations, or the map design, but that's really the only good things i can say about it.

Right now with the speed at which it's moving and with how little content there is, it's gonna get boring pretty fast for some people, and that's kind of sad because this game had (and maybe still has) a lot of potential.

If you're thinking about getting this and have never played a Killing Floor game, i'd honestly recommend getting the first one instead, it's cheaper and it's gonna last you longer. Too bad that would still be giving money to tripwire though.
