I played Csgo now over 5 Years, and on the overlook, the game is making fun to play with friends. Its E-sport is popular. Overall i would give this fps a 9/10. Heres why:

Pros:
Let's start with the Pro's.
The Weapon balance is in my opinion pretty okay. Clearly the sg is pretty strong, but they nerfed it in the last update.
So, its pretty active about bringing update and operations.
They also drop new Cases every now and then.
The Skin System is one of my favorite marks for the 9/10, because you can flex on the girls with your new karambit lore fn (lol). Also pro for the collectors, cause you could collect every skin if your wallet can bring such a Value.
Csgo has many funny gamemodes, from gungame to jump snipe noobs.
You can play with your friends with 1 click, its pretty simple.

Cons:
Now to the cons... there are many ^^'
The Matchmaking system is Unknown, so every one speculates on what it is about to uprank or what you shouldnt do. No one has a clue what really comes to uprank. Its clearly that if you win everytime you Rank up, but i had many times a 7 Win Streak and didnt uprank.
The Trust Factor update was one of the worst they brought in, because if you buy this game and its your only game in steam, you have no one in your friendslist, then you instantly fall in the low trust factor and get grouped with trolls, people which dont care about the game or cheaters.
Its to prevent Smurfers to get to normal games, but they clearly failed on this one.
The Source engine in outdated. The Hitbox in this game is sometimes not there where it should be.
They should have updated it to Source 2 engine since they announced it... but till today they didnt.


So now im bored to do this more, that should be my review for now.
What i can say is:
If you have the time (and i mean looong time) to get this game a chance, do it. Play it with friends, is my Tip
If you cant bring up that time, dont buy it. Wait for Valorant or something, its newer and maybe better.

You can join one friend, the other not... WTF
Your NAT-TYP is like a dice, ♥♥♥ of with your nice internet, they decide which NAT-TYP you have...
(I have a 150k internet: 10mb/s upload and 126mb/s download and a 8ping) I mean wtf! ._.
I get kicked out of the game.. Zombie, Multi and Single.. they say ♥♥♥ off and kick me out and it says: Connection lost to the Bo3 Servers... NICE THX ♥♥♥ U 2.
Singleplayer coop? Nice, if it would connect with my friend... -.-
