Let be known the review is still for the Early Access release of Armello (who knows what 6 months will change!) - but so far I'm really enjoying it. From the music at character selection to the card animations, there's a lot of aesthetic pleasers in this game. Each game has ran about 40-60 minutes for me so far (single player) and it was a bit of a curve to get familiar with everything (like most board games, though). I really do enjoy almost everything about the game so far. I feel like so far it's been fairly difficult to win, unless by means of prestige. If I find myself behind in prestige about half-way through the game, I almost know that there's no way to catch up and kind of already consider myself having failed which kind of burns my gameplay morale - but besides that! This is an amazing game so far and I can't wait to see what comes out in the full release in 6 months. So excited!
