update 01/29/23, game is in an OK spot. it has some enjoyable moments but still is not great.

really really really been enjoying it. I couldn't finish boneworks because of motion sickness, but in HLA I've played almost 5 hours straight with minimal discomfort. Really smooth and game look AMAZING

I've never been hunting in my life, and I don't plan on ever hunting. But this game is fantastic. There are missions that get you to explore the maps, and a large variety of game to choose from. My only complaint is that you need to discover the fast travel points, so you are often running 20-30 minutes across the map to discover these.

The only vehicles in the game are locked behind a DLC, which is dumb.

Overall 9/10 rabbits feet

From the little i've played, i've enjoyed it. Can't play for more than an hour before getting motion sickness. Only complaint is it doesn't play very well with the original vive controllers, seems built for index.

Edit 2 days post launch, just completed sewers:

About 6 hours into the game now, I struggle to play even an hour before getting motion sickness, so I try to play in small intervals. Some of the levels are really good, but quite long. I have run into the issue where I cannot complete levels in one sitting and there is no quick save, so if you leave the game you need to start that level over again. Streets was the worst for this, because it's a very long level with multiple puzzles and no quick save points. Took me about 3 times to try to complete it.

I find hand movement can be clunky, for example if youre close to a box or move able object, your hand will often bump the box, instead of clipping through it. Anytime my character falls, I need to close my eyes so I don't get sick as quickly. Hopefully the motion sickness goes away after I get used to the game.

Overall, I'm enjoying the game.
