There is a lot to love in this game but after 20 hours it does get boring/repetitive, even the devs realised that as it is an option you can talk about with an NPC.

It is also super easy to lock yourself into losing by one (or a few) wrong choices with no option to save the round.

Old schools graphics and classes etc. are nice to have but it is not newbie friendly and the game loop does feel really repetitive after some time. I wouldn't recommend it as it is, but I can see it being improved down the line.

70 mins spent total, 20 mins play time 50 mins watching a friend crawling throughout the map trying to survive.
Physics are super glitchy for a game where the items take damage and lose their value.
Game suggests you can fight against the monsters but I quickly found out that is not as easy as it may seem.
Requested a refund, it is not fun, wouldn't recommend

It is good. Rare bugs and wasted QOL update/fix chances here and there, but overall - a strong 8.5 out of 10.

It's amazing to see how far the devs took the game and the WW1 is also plenty of fun. The sad part is that it might be too late, as there are not many players. A massive PR stunt could potentially save the game but most of the EU lobbies are almost empty.

Nice touch of story-telling, good-old soulcalibur experience

Edit after 30+ hours:

- Everyone one-shots everyone
- Saltiest kids in the universe, almost like they are paid a full time salary to be toxic and flame other people in the game
- Not suitable for an actual competitive gameplay. If Overwatch was Dota (for team fight duration and the overall feeling), this is LoL.

- Game crashes.
- I close the game and relaunch, trying to reconnect
- Reconnection fails as the game filled the position with another player
- I get a warning about disconnecting from the game and how I would penalised if this happened again
- I check the warning about intel CPUs and the solution, the solution they came up with (other than updating BIOS which is already up to date) is literally "nerfing" my CPU, so their game may or may not run without crashing again

Fix your game first, then consider penalising players for "disconnecting" from an ongoing game.

Also, - let's be honest - many characters, skills and the overall design is really similar to Overwatch. Not all, but quite a few.

Cannot recommend the game as it is, but it has a great potential. Let's see how long it takes before another Marvel game is ruined.

+ Spent more than 120 hours in the game, and I regret none, but the game lacks finesse and it is unlikely to get any better - given the state of the DLC.
I did not get to choose what I actually would prefer as a path (if we are to assume this is an RPG game), nor did I get an ending I actually would prefer - and don't even get me started on the other options like romance, the side quests etc.
+ Overall, 6/10 from me for this wasted opportunity.
+ Silver lining is that the game seems to be better optimised after years since it was released, so, yeah

Game keeps dropping due to the server connection issues

Literally no changes to the unfair AI. I'd recommend playing Soulslike instead, lol

After all this time, still plenty of in-game bugs where you can enjoy getting stuck, unclear level designs, game crashing "fatal error"s and no iCUE support. I loved the first game and I really tried to love this one, but I finally gave up. I really wish that I did not buy this game in the first place.
