The game seems to be fun and I actually quite enjoyed it when I could play. That being said, the game completely freezes for about 5 seconds every 30 seconds or so, even though I'm using a pretty high-end computer. This completely kills the experience for me and needs to be fixed before I want to continue playing.

When it works, it's pretty decent fun. However, it crashes far too often to be an enjoyable experience. With no way to join back into Warzone or DMZ matches even if your team is still in, you often just lose all of your progress, which is especially detrimental in DMZ.

MULTIPLAYER ONLY REVIEW

Greatly improved since launch, but the store is still heavily overpriced and desync is still a common issue. Forge is awesome though, and we've got a nice variety of online gamemodes now.

Grand Theft Auto V was and still is one of the most popular games of modern gaming. Rockstar created a great single player story mode, like the majority of Rockstar's titles. The three main characters are very diverse and provide interesting perspectives on the story as it progresses. You can easily spend around 50 hours in the story mode. However, as the majority of players get this game for the Online mode, this review will mainly focus on the pros and cons of Online mode.

PROS:
- Great world design. A huge city with varying neighborhoods, desert towns, mountains, it's all in there alongside numerous other points of interest. The NPCs in the game also provide an additional touch that makes it feel even more alive thanks to their random conversations, both with each other and aimed at the player.
- Incredibly diverse gameplay scenarios. Whether you want to run one (or all) of the many businesses, engage in PvP action, start a car collection or simply cause mayhem wherever you go, it's all possible. And that is just what you can do in free roam. The game also provides you with dozens of online mission playlists, both serious and crazy. Racing through the city or doing a stunt race where your vehicle transforms at every checkpoint, fighting off hordes of enemies or simply doing a variety of more standard missions, it's all possible. This still doesn't even scratch the surface of what you can find amongst the playlists, some of which include outstanding player created content as well. The most notable gameplay scenario would be the heists, which are 2-4 player activities that are more difficult and long than most missions, and therefore also more rewarding. The newest Casino heist even allows you to widely customize how you take it on.
- Variety of guns and vehicles. Since release, Rockstar has steadily given us more and more weapons and vehicles to play around with. The guns are also heavily customizable which further allows players to play how they want. Vehicles are even more varied, with hundreds of cars, motorcycles, helicopters, boats and more to choose from, some more useful than others. Whether you want to cruise around in a sleak hypercar, cause mayhem in a tank or jet or just goof around in a blimp or modified vespa, the choice is yours as long as you have the money.
- Discounts and bonuses. Rockstar provides their players with a variety of discounts and bonuses every week. The bonuses range from increases money on businesses to a certain set of playlists while discounts can be on specific vehicles or businesses as well. Additionally, Rockstar sometimes gives players even more money for simply logging in in a certain month or completing a certain amount of objectives within a certain amount of time. You also get one free spin at the lucky wheel in the casino every 24 hours where you can get money, reputation points, clothing or even a weekly rotating vehicle.

CONS:
- Griefers. Unfortunately, while the majority of the playerbase engages in missions or businesses to earn money, there are some who simply go around servers to mess up whatever other players are doing, often wasting the other player's time, effort and money. Rockstar even helps these players by giving all players in your server a notification when you start a certain business mission. Oftentimes you have to do these missions in weak and slow vehicles while they can use the most powerful items they have.
- Hackers/Modders. While some of these people are harmless or even fun to encounter, they are mostly up to no good. In full lobbies it is very common to encounter at least 1 or 2 of them. They can teleport to you, activate god mode, instantly kill everyone else or even boot you out of the game.
- Overused and overpowered vehicles. Rockstar released numerous great vehicles since launch, but they also introduced a few that completely changed public lobbies forever. The most notable example is the Oppressor Mk2, a flying bike which can be upgraded to shoot homing missiles. It is fast, powerful and difficult to counter, which makes it the majority of griefers' favourite vehicle.
- Repetitiveness. While you can change up what you do whenever you want, you simply have to run a few businesses to make the most money. A lot of these are simple fetch and deliver missions, which can be especially frustrating when you have to do them in a slow garbage truck or the dreaded Post-Op van.

CONCLUSION:
If you're looking for a fun online shooter with lots of things to do, this game is certainly for you. Despite that, you have to take into account that the most efficient money-making methods can get repetitive and boring, especially when combined with the risk of getting your mission ruined by griefers. It's still great to play with the amount of things you can do and buy, with the most fun to be gained when you play with a bunch of friends.
