Craving stealth games but nothing else beats Deus Ex for me so another replay it is.

One of the best stealth immersive sim you can play, especially if you're into sci-fi/cyberpunk theme.
Great gameplay with a lot of freedom to approach the mission, the map feels small but every corner is filled with a lot of things to explore.
Main story is quite lackluster, considering this was supposed to be continuing but we'll never get the continuation for it sadly. But side quests has a lot of interesting lore and story tied into it.

Buy the season pass and not the DLC separately, it's worth it just for A Criminal Past story DLC and you can just think of the other story DLC as a bonus you'll forget quickly.

Now I'm gonna go back crying that we'll probably never get a third game.

Short DLC, but for the price I'm not complaining.
Maybe a little too much ground missions for my tastes, but with the new enemy type and attacks to avoid it felt quite refreshing. Tunnel mission is... Unique for sure.
Overall a lot more chaos that's not just missile spams coming at you, making it quite a lot of fun to play.
Story is decent, more of a side story and doesnt add much onto the main story, but it's still entertaining to listen through.
And as usual the music is a banger, don't even need to doubt it.

Third time replaying this, this time on Steam.
Fun arcade flight sim with good handling and decent progression system. Gameplay keeps you engaged with plenty of unique mechanics throughout the story. Story leaves a lot to be desired when compared to it's older games, but alongside it's great lists of soundtracks it did fine for what it's attempting to do.
AC7 also serves well as an introduction to the Ace Combat series for newcomers with it's more modern gameplay, alongside it's story that's quite independent from other Ace Combat games with some references to older games that doesn't matter too much if you don't know the context.

Highly recommended if you're interested in an arcade flight sim with an engaging story.

Prioritized dinner over democracy, got punished by not being able to play with friends (game broke) and losing sanity for an hour (trying to fix it). 10/10 I'd never betray Managed Democracy ever again.

Only bought this because I stumbled upon one of it's soundtrack and liked it, didn't expect to get into an emotional rollercoaster. Great story that builds up well, gets more interesting overtime, and has a satisfying ending. Not to mention combined with a great list of soundtracks composed by Sakuzyo, and amazing voice actings (JP voice, at least).
Sadly the combat is easily it's biggest weak point, with very stiff feeling and repetitive gameplay that gets boring fast. Would recommend just playing on Easy and kill enemies whenever you need to, helps making the dungeon roaming part more bearable overtime.

Not the type to cry when watching a sad or painful scene, but there were some occasions where it felt so painful I had trouble dealing with it. Now one of my favorite game based on the story.

Devs still pumping out regular contents drops and balance patches even after EoL announcement is crazy, had a good time overall.
Rest in peace, Gundam Evolution.

Amazing game unfortunately overshadowed by it's poor release due to performance issues.
Beautiful map designs and cutscenes, Fantastic soundtracks that perfectly fits in every moment it plays at, Smooth gameplay that fits well with Kemono moves and Karakuri mechanics.
The main problem is that it still runs terribly even on a high end PC. on my Ryzen 5 6600H/RTX 3050 laptop I had to play at 1080p DLSS Performance with almost everything at low settings, and while it stays above 30 fps most of the time on heavy scenes, the frametime is extremely inconsistent and made the game doesn't feel smooth at all. This still happens on my friend's PC with an RTX 3070, and you can find a lot of people with even better specs complaining about performance issues.
It's also a shame that support seems to be cut off, seeing that the last update was few months ago and there aren't any news at all recently. it had a lot of potential and could've even gave Monster Hunter a run for it's money.
Overall, highly recommended if you're interested in hunting games and has good enough PC to brute force through the performance issues it has, it's just that good.

Oh also, please release the soundtrack for sale, I would buy it in a heartbeat.

Tried it out during free weekend.
Simple but fun gunplay, movement feels fine although a little limited in some situations, can't comment on vehicle gameplay as I was never interested on them.
128 players gamemode can be really fun to play with how chaotic it can be.
How operators and loadouts works doesn't sit well with me, too much freedom like you can be a medic using sniper and bringing ammo packs?
Changing weapon mods on the fly is interesting although it felt weird that I can just switch to a different optic and ammo type to cover different range.
Matchmaking seems a bit too reliant on AIs to populate the server, making the game feel emptier until more people are populating the server. Would be fine if the lobby isn't disbanded so everyone has to matchmake again after a match and has to deal with the same problem again if they didn't get into an ongoing match.

It's a fine Battlefield game but imo not as good as some of the older ones, price during sales sounds fine for what you get right now, hopefully the game will get better since DICE is still working on this game.

Finished NG++ so I can finally give my take on this.
Combat is very fast paced and smooth, boss fights are really fun but it can be quite tough especially the early ones since you don't have a lot of options yet. There's a lot of mission varieties so it's hard to get bored, NG+ and NG++ unlocks different missions and paths you can take so it'll keep you refreshed during another playthrough.
Story isn't told very clearly like in their previous games in the series, but it's still great and keeps me interested through the whole game. The cutscenes are also stunning to see.
There aren't as much customizations as in some of the previous AC games, but it's still great and lets you freely build your mech however you want.
The netcode for PVP is good enough as long as there isn't too much latency, but stuff like matchmaking and ranked mode doesn't exist at all and only custom matches are available, a bit disappointing since PVP feels great and was also a big focus in some previous AC games.

Overall it's a great Armored Core game, my first time buying a full priced AAA game and no regrets.
