Hello MightyMork,
No, that's not how the game works; object are rendered on the server, in addition to the client, and if a shot would pass through such type of surface, even if unrendered, it would be invalidated by the server.
This is the reason why hitscan cheats are almost impossible in Hunt.

Just watched clip of me headshotting you on my end that tombstone had not rendered in and you were healing in the open, it was suss as ♥♥♥♥ but the game let you down there champ.
