Cute(and funny), fire OST, offers difficult bosses with super high skill ceiling. The difficult bosses never feel unfair, either. Was fun to get better at the game.

Initially, super fun with a lot of choices and different perspectives, also well voice acted (rare in EVNs). This one in particular is meant to be replayed a lot due to the extreme amount of choices. It's kinda like the Stanley Parable as a VN, so if you're the type of person that would be like "what would happen if I did this thing?" this is a pretty good game for that. My favorite is the bickering between all the voices, which gets pretty funny. I personally would have preferred if there was even more depth per route rather than range, though, that way there would be more room to do clever things with the narrative.

I've never played a metroidvania(exploration 2D side scroller), but I'm a big fan of cute anime grills. I admit I'm completely suckered for the cute art and graphics. So this was an excellent introduction to the genre. The game also has elements of bullet hell, which was interesting -- I'm a fan of touhou so this was a big plus for me. The music was great, and the gameplay feels like a fighting game of sorts (reminds me of 12.3). The controls are fluid and there are many ways to move Erina just the way you like. Overall I'm very impressed with the game.
