I started off by playing this game out of pure boredom, on a school night in April of 2017. As opposed to most of FTP Steam games I've tried during that "boredom period", this game actually held my attention. Very quickly I realized that I'm mechanically very potent in this game, and I felt like this game rewards your dedication more than any other game I've ever tried. The learning curve is quite linear up to top 2 digit numbers in most regions (EU in my case), and from then on it doesn't fail to disappoint.

A lot of people like to say that there's too many "spammers" or "parry players" in this game, and well, I've also had an issue with those during my early days. It's like any game really, once you start off and you don't understand the game a lot, you'll have troubles fighting cheap tactics and cheesy weapons.

Overall, I'd recommend this game to anyone. Fun and intuitive for casuals, yet smooth to even the absolute masters.
