An easy recommendation for anyone who enjoys turn-based tactic games like XCOM, Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire Emblem. Really satisfying gameplay with an incredible character building system that let's you experiment and discover ways to unlock your characters' potential.

The biggest drawback of the game is mainly its localization, but that's to be expected. The dialogue and story text can be pretty janky so it's a little harder to get into the story, but looking past the language barrier is a really incredible game with an addictive charm.

One of the best western RPGs ever just got even better with widescreen support with supported resolutions up to 5K, achievements and Linux/SteamOS support. If you're thinking about picking this game up whether you've missed it or you want to relive your past experiences with the game, now is the best time with this update that makes it easier than ever before to run the game on modern machines.

And there's workshop mod support, making installation of the (more or less) essential Restored Content Mod a breeze to install.

Warframe is a free-to-play game about space ninjas.

If you weren't convinced already to play the game because of that previous statement, then it might not be for you. And if you WERE convinced, it may still not be for you! As it stands right now the shooting, movement, ability and customization mechanics are top-notch, but there's very little substance in this game. You play missions and get resources to buy new gear to use, but it's purely a skinner box in its current state.

You farm, and then you get better farming equipment. Rinse and repeat. If you were to play this game for long periods of time, the repetitive nature of it all will sink in quick, but if you don't spend a lot of time playing it's a blast to play for literally 5 to 20 minutes per sitting.
