Rip and Tear. Just as advertised

Bought it this week, played 23 hours already. This game is addicting as hell.
The game has some minor downsides, none of them are really deal-breaking though.
I will go over these cons first. That way i can ramble on about how great this game is.

Cons:
- Some deaths can be frustrating
- Buying back squad members is a little too drawn out sometimes.
- A little more map variety would be nice
- The soundtrack is a little bit generic

Pros:
- Big arsenal of weaponry with a lot of interesting and unique weapons
- Fleshed out assortment of characters, each having a completely different playstyle
- Power ups that have amazing synergy with each other, giving the ability to chain scrolls together for even crazier effects
- Very well optimized, runs on basically anything (3 PC's tested so far)
- Controls feel smooth as butter and are highly responsive
- Weapon inscriptions make every gun you find really interesting and varied
- The gunplay, special attacks and random-weapon systems borrow heavily from borderlands, wich is amazing imo
- Cell shaded graphics with a highly stylized look
- Boss battles feel unique for every boss and feel highly rewarding
- No lootboxes, battle passes or any other monetized in-game elements
- No mandatory server connection (its p2p multiplayer)
- Very transparent dev roadmap with a lot of content still on its way.
- Only 16 Euros!

I could go on for hours about this game and how great it is. Its hands-down, one of the best Roguelite FPS games on the market right now. if the thought of an awesome binding of isaac and borderlands hybrid ever crossed your mind. Or even just the thought of a fps roguelite with awesome variety. Id recommend picking this one up ASAP!

Ita fun, but so ridiculously unpolished that i cant give it a thumbs up. Its only as good as it is because its the only one of its kind right now.

And it shows.

The laziness of the developers is so outstandingly ridiculous.
If you are lazy to the point of not even animating a hand, and thus getting confused if you are even holding a gun with both hands (using protube) is a problem that shouldnt exist at this point.

The grenade mechanics are so laughable that they are unusable.
The gunplay is okay, just lazy (lot of animations and details missing).
The maps are way under par and simply unacceptable, with floating rocks and houses everywhere.
The characters look like something from an early 2000's indie game.
The climbing, which brings some great appeal to the game, is utterly broken and has launched me into random directions, or killed me more then i can count.

Until all of those problems have been fixed im not even considering recommending this game.

Okay lets be real here.
Would i recommend it in its current state?
Hardly. But i will.
This is because of the crazy potential and the extremely responsive developers.
(They fixed some bugs we had brought up in the discord almost immediately)
The gore system is absolutely sickening (in the most twisted kind of good way) and the gunplay is really solid.

If you dont mind early access, this game is a must have for anyone who likes gore.

pay 2 win garbage. 30 + hours played and i haven't even gotten close to unlocking a tank, let alone a plane.

Dont play this unless you are willing to empty your wallets for a sub-par game

youll encounter level 4 premium tanks in battles with only tier 2's, just because the developers thought it might encourage you to spend 20 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dollars on a virtual tank.

Please let fc5 be at least half as good as this one. Like holy ♥♥♥♥. I finally took the time to complete the story and my god was it amazing. Great dialogue. Great humor at times and holy damn the feels. like holy ♥♥♥♥♥, i had trouble watching when i had to torture riley.

Would be a 10/10 if the second island its design felt as creative as the first.
