Early Access Review
I recently bought this on steam for £15, it truly is SWG 2.
I've been really impressed with the level of customization, especially with player cities.

The crafting system is complex. There is a grading system in place. 50 grade levels with F0 - A9 that applies to components, ingredients and the actual items crafted. There is a big learning curve with the crafting system and it is designed so you are dependent on other crafting professions for certain high level components.

There is the normal AH, accessible from anywhere that also allows you to place work order for others to fill (think EVE).
The levelling system isn't straight forward, it is similar to SWG (from what I can remember) but not exactly the same. You pick up a weapon and the beginner skills, and you level it by using the weapon. When you reach a certain level you unlock an ability, but you do not get the ability yet. There are two ways to attain the ability, one is to spend training points which are given to you for completing missions. Mission completion can also give reward you directly with a choice of ability. It's a little hard to explain.

Another element of the skill/levelling system is Skill Imprinting points. All sorts of in game actions can reward you with SI points, which you can then invest in the relevant skills to give your level a boost.
There are two main factions warring with each other, and you can create your own third faction and align them with either main faction. I've not had a chance to play with this feature yet but as far as I know you can change your alignment at any time.

Combat seems pretty good to me but needs a little work. You can roll like in GW2 and there are a lot of combat classes such as Rifles, Automatic weapons, grenades, aerosol, bladed weapons, unarmed, blunt weapons, martial arts, axe, handguns, probably a few more and you can dual wield some of them. And shields.

There are healing abilities that require a healing scanner in the main hand, so any class can heal but it requires swapping out your weapon.
Anyone can play the entertainer class that dances and tells stories to give buffs. You can only do this in a "rest" zone, which comes in the shape of inner city bars or player placed tents when out in the wild. You can tame animals with animal handling or buy them from a genetic engineer, use robots made by robotics, go fishing, logging, foraging or mining. Place harvesters, get into hacking or diplomacy. Culinary arts can make food buffs, stims made by pharmacists. There are stylists, interior decorators, disguises, stealth, traps and quite a number more that I've not mentioned such as armour/weapons crafting etc.

I know that every time a new game comes out, someone makes a huge post listing all the great features it has and tries to get people hyped. We're all a bit above that kind of hype train nonsense now but I hope that the info I've given is of some help.
