This is an update of my review that I made July 19th, 2016

I have played this game since its release on Steam. It has come a VERY long way, and the fact that one guy is behind it all is amazing. Each week bugs are fixed, features added, or new items added. Since I started, there has been a few new zombies added as well. Back with my last review I thought more would be coming, sadly I have not seen many new ones since.

The game has a decent building system, with a lot of new things added (mostly decor / storage). Getting wood is easy, brick is the hardest to find, while metal is easy with time and farming. It does take time to place floors, walls, etc though, which slightly can be bothersome. The buidling system is easy to learn however.

Even though I love this game, I find a few issues worthy of attention. These are...

Community- The community is (mostly) not friendly. PvP server? Expect no friends there. Cussing, name calling, etc are all common. Most servers have horrible staff that abuse powers to just make gameplay awful. In the defense of some server staff, players tend to call admin abuse even on vanilla servers with no cheats on so... A lot of abuse claims are just people getting mad and having a fit.

Optimization- I can play Skyrim Special Edition with well over 60fps, Rust with 60fps, list goes on and on. Unturned? I can expect a solid 40fps... It is not optimized well. This is one of my biggest complaints. And it is one I don't expect to get fixed.

An awesome stratagy game, for anyone, even if you are bad at stratagy. Tons of civilization to play, for hours of fun. Diplomacy is critical, and can determine the outcome of the game. Multiplayer is hard to do sometimes, when people disconnect, etc.

Lots of features are for skilled users, like the City menu screen, where you can control everything the city does.
