From the first time I played the game I enjoyed every second. The first few minutes I died 8 times but the learning curve was steady and well thought out. There is everything you can imagine to do, playing in a tribe can be beneficial and can make sure everyone has a role to fulfill. You can be the one doing the building, be the hunter, be the caretaker, be the farmer, be the breeder or whatever you fancy to do.

I recommend this to anyone and advise to start with a local game or a PVE server. PvP can be a bit of a steep learning curve having to combat the environment and other players.
