Great game. Loved my time with it, up until the end when I had learned most of what there was to learn. Once you start to understand the games limitations and what building elements are sorely missing you will start to yearn for the dev's to just add simple things that would make building so much simpler. Like a dedicated universal joint, which are very compact in real life. Or functional tire grip/torque/driving model (Been broken for years). Or modular engines that don't ONLY overheat, without having to resort to incantations. These are just a few of the things that I waited for, for far too long. Came back today after waiting, to see if anything has changed. It's been about 2 years now since I last played. Nothing has changed as far as building. Sure, there are new blocks. And some weird new gaseous simulations. But why are there no basic block expansions? If you look at Avorion, they used the same voxel-ish type building platform but with a wholly custom and modular design for block sizes, they are literally as long/wide/tall as you need them to be to fit into your design. But over here with Stormworks they would rather add some seriously disappointing paid DLC's than just add SMOOTH BLOCK TRANSITIONS BETWEEN ALL THE BASIC BLOCK TYPES. Very sad to see nothing has changed. 7/10.

PS. Fix the stupid driving model, please. Tires don't slip more when more weight is on your vehicle IRL. Why is the road apparently made of ice and every tire come greased?

My late father introduced me to S.T.A.L.K.E.R and I wish he could be here for this one too.

I’m a GAMMA enjoyer and I have far too many hours spent dying in that game and Chornobyl is living up to everyone of my expectations. Gunplay is so heavily improved over any of the other 3 and even feels better than Anomaly/GAMMA. A-life is somewhat borked but hopefully it will be improved with time but honestly that hasn’t even detracted from my experience so far. Also the PDA master race is alive and well in the zone.

Running decent on Ryzen 5 4500 / RX 6600 / 32 gb. The graphics settings are pretty strange, try medium first and if you get an optimization mod you can push it to high pretty easy.

Very much S.T.A.L.K.E.R. It hits me right in the S.T.A.L.K.E.R part of my brain. It was worth the wait for me but I am a life-long fan.

Thank you GSC, I’ve been waiting eagerly since your first announcement back in 2018. I just wish you stuck with the September 5th release date because that is my birthday lol.

Don't let the age of this game turn you away. I always come back to this game, even today in 2020. The mods are amazing, although they add more crash potential. There aren't very many tutorials for the game and technical aspects of modding, so a lot of things you have to figure out for yourself. Once you do, it becomes the best vehicle/racing playground with an economy you will ever find. If I could, I would buy this game 3 more times.

It's Halo on PC. Everything you expect is there, plus some. Sadly only Reach is ported but still great.

It's a great game that has many of the amazing qualities that made the past counter-strike games so wonderful plus the addition of a competetive mode with its own dedicated ranking system that would function better in a middle-school. Anyway its a great game with virtually no gameplay or control issues that I can think of, but the community can suck sometimes. Just play late at night when the kiddies are asleep.
