Not sure why it's got mixed reviews, seems pretty sweet too me, rogue like shooter with 90's like graphics

I think this might be the best rogue like/lite I have pleyed, including the likes of Rogue Legacy and Enter the Gungeon. It looks beautiful, kind of like if the amiga was still going today but far more powerful and 3d graphics had never been invented. The combat is glorious and quite varied with the amount of different weapons you can unlock. The fact that this gives you some sort of progression similar to Rogue legacy is a brilliant thing as you never really feel like a run is wasted and keeps you coming back to unlock new weapons and skills.
Totally worth the money, I have played 9-10 hours so far and have yet to encounter anything 'early accesssih' so far. This h#game is going to be big, especially is it makes it too the switch

I have played most if not all the doom games over the years and loved all of them. This is the best one. It surpasses how good the original doom was at the time.

What a game, I am not sure I have found anything quite as addictive as this. After 8 hours I finally feel I am getting the hang of the first minute or so and my longest survival time is 105 seconds. This might give you some idea how hard the game is ,but I haven't found it frustrating so far. I absolutly reccomend this game. 5/5

Games great fo far, had no bugs and frame rate mostly 60 on high settings [1650x1050], tends to drop to 50-55 in some of the cut scenes. So far has played like a much more polished version of the 2013 reboot, that I loved. Possibly the best graphics I have seen to boot.
Running on i5 4460, gtx970, 16gig ram.
Did seem a bit weird buying the game on preorder 2 hours before the game unlocked as I was going out and wanted it preloaded for when I got back, then seeing the price was £4 cheaper when released, though my mate did get a free copy of the 2013 game as I already had it.

Really enjoying this so far, great artwork and sound track, I love the feel of the game.
It's hard, the recent update has made aspects of it easier , it's still really hard but not in a frustrating way. Don't usally invest in early access stuff but this looked too good to resist and is well worth the money in its current state [which seems better than many games that have had full release]

Having played this about 35 hours my initial enthusiasm has not dimmed one bit. This is a fantastic game and would be my game of 2015 if an early access game qualifies. I finally completed the game, usally this ends my time with a game, but I am already saved back at the cryptark trying to beat my score.
Everyone should play this and I would say anyone who was raised in the uk with an Amiga playing games like Alien Breed, this is a must. It replicates for me that nostalgic itch that I never even knew I had till playing this, and then surpasses it.

I find it hard to explain why this game is so good, when it's basically just typing command codes. It's really addictive and looks so cool. If this game interests you even slightly already, you should check it out.

The best game I have played this year, I have played about 40 hours of this so far having completed it once, really is addictive and has excellent music

it's called 'squishy the sicidal pig' for gods sake. Buy it
