it's nice to have in the background. since the latest update added multiplayer (meowtiplayer), i've been running the application a lot more frequently. it's sort of like body doubling; seeing a bunch of other people's cats tapping along while i'm doing other stuff keeps me motivated and less likely to stagnate.

something to note is that the amount of typing/clicking/etc doesn't add towards your chest drop. the chests are on a set timer, regardless of how much activity you do.

seconding everyone saying that it gets repetitive very quickly. the maps loop after a few minutes with only a few options for other roads, so you're not really seeing anything new after about 3 minutes per map (if you're driving at a higher speed, that is).

A lot of these apps are geared for those who are still in school or work desk jobs, but as someone who is a self-employed artist with ADHD, I've found gogh to be super helpful and fun!

My ADHD makes time blindness a real struggle, so having the Pomodoro timer set just to remind me of the passage of time has been incredibly beneficial to me (it reminds me that I need to stretch and take a sip of water or get food if I've been locked into a project for too long).
The customization aspect is largely what I wanted the game for initially. I'd say that the room designing is very similar to The Sims 3. You can change the colors of almost all the objects, place them just about anywhere, and you can overlap items (like the moveobjects cheat, ha). The character customization is very fun as well. Unfortunately, there's only one body type and there aren't many options for curly or textured hair, but hopefully we'll see more as the game gets more updates.

If you don't know if you want to buy the steam version, mobile version of gogh is free and has a significant more options for the character customization, in my opinion. You're able to upload images to use on your character (I've seen people use scars or blemishes, for example, as well as giving clothing different patterns). The mobile version is also multiplayer to a degree! You're able to enter public rooms and essentially body double with other users, and if I remember correctly, you can also create a room for others to join. I don't personally use the multiplayer feature much, though. The Kuroda in the steam version is more than enough for me, lol.

one of the best chill games i've ever played. the dev is incredibly kind and listens to the community's feedback! there are also frequent occasions of the dev playing with players to help them out!!! if you can buy the game, do it!!!! buy a copy for your friend, too! it's better to snail with snompany (snail company)

Very rarely do I buy a game immediately after playing the demo, but this one is DEFINITELY one of the cases! While it is in early access still, I think the game is very much so worth the price as it is. The gameplay is very relaxed, but it has times where it's a bit more fast paced, so it has a little something for everyone! Plus, the monsters are very endearingly designed, which is what made me want to try it in the first place :P If you can't buy the game, at least play the demo and let it haunt your idle thoughts like it did mine

I doubt power washing is this fun irl, but digital power washing is! A good game to watch movies to.
