The challenge of tackling three Maths GCSEs, mostly through self-study while being home-educated, required great self-discipline and motivation, but this came easily to me because of my sheer passion for the subject. The Fidget Spinner World Championships is acknowledged as the most important event in the fidget spinner year. Scheduled to be held in New York City in September 2017, the championships will feature two age divisions -- 16 and under, and 17 and older. A prize purse of $5,000 will be offered for each division. The purse will be divided among the top three finishers: $2,500 for first place; $1,500 for second place, and $1,000 for third place. The event will feature four categories, including longest spin, hand toss, high toss, and freestyle.
A team of judges will assess all participants. Applications are now being accepted for the event, and an application fee of $75 will be due when the location of the event is confirmed.
