The last Dynasty Warriors game I recall playing was Empires 5 or 6, but since I abandoned consoles and PC ports of the Warriors franchise had a reputation for being notoriously bad, I accepted I might never play Dynasty Warriors again. When I heard good things about this game I decided to take the plunge and wasn't disappointed.

I'd love to see some more of the strategy gameplay from Empires come back in a future installment.
