Apparently I had forgotten to write a review for this game...

It's amazing. Buy it.
That's all there is to say.

Honestly, I enjoyed this game way more than I thought I would. The singleplayer campaign I actually thought was pretty good, and if I were to rate it solely based on the 15 hours or so I put into the campaign I would give it a 7/10. For reference I enjoyed it more than Gotham Knights which I'd probably give a 5/10.

The endgame however is grindy and gets boring pretty quick, as it's just repeating the same missions over and over again. I didn't try any of the other seasons though, which might be more enjoyable (though I doubt it). I also didn't try any of the new characters, as I didn't feel like going through the grind to unlock them - even though getting to play as Deathstroke was tempting.

I feel like most of the criticism this game got was for being too "woke", and you can definitely tell that the game is trying to be as politically correct as possible. For example, the characters all badmouth Harley Quinn's outfit from the Arkham games for being too sexualized, yet there is a whole scene where everyone is commenting on the size of Boomerang's private parts. I actually chuckled at the Boomerang scene, and thought that the writing overall was mostly decent, I just wish they could make jokes like that about every character.

There were other minor things as well, like hanging the pride flag above the entrance to the main headquarters, however I don't really care about stuff like that. What I DO care about is that they turned Poison Ivy, one of the best Batman villains (in my opinion), into an annoying child, and I can only think of one reason for doing this, which is that Poison Ivy is a very attractive and sexual character. Other than that, the "wokeness" didn't really bother me.

My expectations for this game were very low, mostly because of the culture war stuff, but I actually ended up enjoying it quite a bit, and would definitely recommend it at 95% off. This season they will also be adding an offline mode, which is great, as this season will be the last and the online services will probably shut down in the near future. Then again, you shouldn't buy this game for the online portion anyway - buy it for the singleplayer portion, and have some fun killing off the Justice League.

I haven't finished the game yet, but so far it's one of my least favourite Final Fantasy games along with FFXV and FFX-2.

I'd probably still give it a 6/10 so I'm giving it a thumbs up... but just barely.

What a hard, stressful and frustrating game.
Recommended.

On a more serious note, I originally thought this was a city builder, but it felt more like a resource management puzzle game. You have to gather coal, wood, steel and food in order to make sure that your population stays warm and fed. This might sound easy, but before you know it everyone is suddenly starving or ill (or both), and if they get too angry or lose all hope then they'll be coming for your neck (meaning game over).

The reason it feels like a puzzle game is that each scenario starts out being very challenging for the first couple of days/weeks, but once you "crack the code" and get off to a decent start, the game pretty much plays itself.

My only complaint is that in the game it is possible to send out scout expeditions to look for resources or survivors, however some of the locations that you come across have a 50/50 chance to either give you some much needed resources, or kill your scouts (meaning you also lose all the resources they were carrying). You can of course choose to ignore those locations, but on the hardest difficulty they're very much needed, and unless you're willing to risk losing the game on the spot there's really only one solution - save scumming.

Other than that I definitely recommend Frostpunk as long as you're NOT looking for a calm and relaxing game.

Found it hard to care about the "plot" or any of the characters, so I ended up just skipping through most of it. Thankfully I bought it when it was 90% off.

Also, why is it not possible to romance the character with the best design?

The game is broken. QTEs don't show up making it impossible to progress and finish the game. I have no idea how a broken game got very positive reviews...

Very fun and beginner friendly fighting game. Easy to learn, hard to master.

I wasn't a too big fan of the singleplayer World Tour Mode, but then again that's not really the reason why I bought the game in the first place. When doing normal matches against other players the game is great, and because the movesets aren't that complex winning comes more down to being able to read your opponent than anything else.

I hadn't bought a fighting game at (or close to) launch in a very long time, but I didn't regret picking up Street Fighter 6.
