Sony switching the requirement to have a PSN account to NOT requiring it is the best decision that publisher could have made. Im glad that this game wasn't ruined by the publisher because if you've always wanted to play Terminator or Super Trooper game then this is the game for you. Best of all its both of those in one game. I've been dreaming of a game like this and its easy for me to see playing this game a long time.

Again a great game that seems to be handled by a pushy publisher. I will gladly keep my review positive so long as the game seems on the right track

Terrible bait and switch practices by the publisher (SONY) is ruining a great game made by Arrowhead. I will not make a PSN account which was not required upon purchase and now will be.

this game is alright I guess...

If you're on the fence about buying this game like I was, just buy it. It's a great game to play with friends and the community is great. However, if you're looking for a game to be quickly developed, that's not the case here. It is a faster development than most indie games though (I'm looking at you DayZ).

Borderlands 2 is still one of the very greatest FPS games of all time. Unique weapons of all different sorts that create a never ending feeling of improvement. Different characters add even more depth to playstyle and give it more replay value.

Oh did I mention that the store is beyond f@!?ing amazing? Cursing robots, sarcasm and a villian so evil and with more plastic surgery to make Michael Jackson look like he was on a rookie level.

NOW PICKUP THIS GAME AND HEAD TO THE BADA$$ CRATER OF BADASSITUDE TO SEE HOW MUCH OF A BADASS YOU ARE!

With so much being said negatively about this game, I feel as though I should set the record straight a bit.

Firstly, this is a true to its name 1v4 game. It's a basic concept with some wrinkles thrown in that should bring old school gamers and newer gamers some fun. I must say that as of 6.17.15 I do not experience any "glitches" or "bugs" that many people complain about. While I agree that the game does have a cat and mouse sort of feel, once the arena has been dropped its a straight brawl.

Finally, if you are a gamer like me who does not like long drawn out games, this would be great for you. Yes, it is repetative. Yes, it is essentially the same thing over and over. But if you can play sports games or something similar, you can also like this game.

Evolve is definitely not perfect. but it keeps all players essentially on the same playing field. It takes actual ability to be great in this game. Not the time spent, or unlockables.
