After enjoying Tomb Raider back in the triangle boob PS1 days, I'm annoyed at myself for never playing the more modern ones sooner. To put it simply, this game is AMAZING.

Graphics are out-of-this-world in beauty. The gameplay is a perfect balanced difficulty. Certain moments of the story hit you right in the heart. And there's some fantastic on-the-edge-of-your-seat action.

I enjoyed every second of this gameplay, and I haven't had that from a game for a long time. Truly recommend for a casual gamer who doesn't want to spend time doing the same thing over and over again. Can't wait to play Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider next!

Also - most achievements (except online ones) can be achieved in one "careful" playthrough. Make sure you take the time to explore EVERYWHERE and pick up EVERYTHING. You'll easily be able to upgrade all your skills and weapons before the end of the game - and there's a point in the game where it will let you know before it's too late to go back and grab what you missed.

I'm not gonna lie, this game isn't to everyone's taste as you can probably tell from most of the reviews.

However, I came to this game with an open mind that I was expecting a visual novel, and that's exactly what it is. I'm only a few hours into the storyline, so I can't comment on the endings or how well the choices effect the game, but I can comment that as someone pretty addicted to the World of Darkness 'world' lately - I am enjoying the playthrough. The atmosphere is good with the animated backgrounds and the music, the characters are unique, and the story does seem pretty well put together (so far.)

It's basically something to give you your Kindred fix before the release of Bloodlines 2. Enjoy it as that. :)

I'm not much of a review writer, but I had to note my thoughts of this game for future me if nothing else.

Honestly, wow. There's not many games that can touch me like a book can, however this did it. The graphics and soundtrack alone are stunning and beautiful. The puzzles kept my mind focused for hours on end, not giving up until I worked out the solution. The backstory/lore that you pick up through QR codes, time capsules and computer terminals are enough to give you purpose to progress. There is no wrong way or right way, only the way that we choose, and that's what makes us human right? Or does it?

I can't exactly explain why in words, but this game will always have a place in my heart.

Honestly, I don't know why people are complaining, it's £0.39.

Don't get me wrong, it's got its flaws, but for a casual gamer who just wants to point and shoot, this fits perfectly. A great array of weapons unlockable very early in the game, great metal music, and a never ending wave of zombies to shoot at. Who really wants any more than that?

It's like Call of Duty without the 13 year olds, would recommend.

Been playing this since the days of merciless Piety runs and docks farming. 11/10 would die from voidbearers again.

Keeps getting better and better with every released update. Skill tree seems difficult to learn at first, but using it correctly you can build your character around any item or skill you want. You'll no doubt be on your third character before you reach end game and you'd have likely died hundreds of times. This game is an absolute gem in a world of greedy game developers - it's fully F2P. The only "real money" transactions are for cosmetic items to make your character look pretty, no statistics modified. Everything else you either get lucky with RNG, or you farm for orbs and trade them directly with other players for items, no auction house.

If you want a game to waste half your life on (if you have a life) then this is perfect for you.
