Remember, Titanfall as a franchise died for this garbage to exist. Thankfully Titanfall 2 has players again, play that instead of this, you will thank me later. This game is mismanaged, has horrible bugs, and is the worst of the worst when it comes to identity politics in gaming right now. They remove voice lines for "gender specific language." Isn't it funny how a gay character had his quote taken away because he said "brother?" Titanfall as a franchise gave every player a jet pack to double jump, the ability to wall-run, mantle, slide, and you could equip stim boosts for speed, grappling hooks, and other movement based abilities. You can slide, sprint and mantle in this game. This is it. Oh, but if you play the grapple hook character you can get a grapple hook! We went from a movement shooter with loadouts you could customize, to a battle royale which gutted the movement system entirely. This is also assuming this game works, mind you. You will often never hear audio from enemies, sprinting, mantling, sliding. You are lucky if you manage to hear this, wouldn't sound play a very important role in a battle royale? I would think so, Respawn doesn't. Servers also blatantly do not work, you will crash, rubberband, and hits on people will not count as hits. We lost arguably the best movement shooter of the past 10 years for this broken mess of a game, and all the devs seem to care about is identity politics to appease their overlords, like seriously, who cared about Gibraltars "Brudda" line? Titanfall 3 died for this. Remember, Titanfall 3 died for this. I suppose if you enjoy looting for 20 minutes just so you can get into a 30 second max gunfight where either you die and have to wait to repeat the process, or win and then have your next 30 second gunfight which you will most likely die since you are low from the first one, you will like this game. I reinstalled Titanfall 2 which I got for 4$, and it reminded me just how much I despise this trash, please play that instead.

This game is very cute, and very fun. It is rough around the edges I suppose, but it does have the bones to become something very good. Please make sure you claim it! I hope this game has a very healthy playerbase and update cycle.

This game is dead on arrival. Fun gameplay loop but it takes, quite literally, 20+ days to unlock ONE new mobile suit (playable character for those not inundated). You get no free currency from matches or leveling up, only bpass rewards and beginner challenges. Also premium currency *expires* after 120 days of not using it. HARD pass unless it is fixed... Which I do not think it will be. Save yourself the pain and steer clear. The playerbase will dwindle into nothing as time goes on.

Cr1tikal inspired me to install it. This game is adorable, fun, and addictive. I truly, truly hope this becomes a major esport and a giant game with tons of content and support

TL:DR This game is not a horror game, nor is it a survival horror game. This game is freeze tag with a general horror theme. If you do not get angry easy and want to have a fun chase/be chased game, this game is overall very good.

The game is not scary, survivors are not scared of killers, if anything killers are scared of survivors. The toxicity in this game rivals even the titan League Of Legends. However, overall, for being a game of freeze tag it is quite fun. Each survivor has their own perks, each killer has their own perks. Survivors can get items, can get addons for those items, killers can get addons for their special abilities, and each killer has a special ability. This helps the game feel pretty unique each run and overall fun.
Just, do not go into this expecting to be an actual scary killer, survivors do not fear you. Survivors will blind you and then tea bag, remember that this game is freeze tag at its core and you will have fun! Don't play this game if you are easily angered, though. Many things survivors can do seem toxic, many things killers do seem toxic. I know on the internet it is very easy to be overcome with the victim mentality and think everyone is out to get you, but in this game for every bully squad you encounter the other 10 groups you will face (both killer or survivor) may do "toxic" things, but not even out of malice.
The community for this game is horrid, however. Do not go near it with a 10 foot pole! Everyone whines, survivors will whine killers are too powerful, killers will whine survivors are too powerful (there certainly HAS been balancing issues in the past however!) The dev team in my opinion do pretty well with managing the game.
I have overall spent lots of money on this game. I own 12 of the expansion packs, as well as some cosmetic costumes. These expansion packs unlock killers and survivors, although you can grind to unlock some of them with ingame currency. I think the general rule of thumb is the licensed killers, such as Ghost face, Michael Myers, Pinhead, and so forth are not able to be unlocked with ingame currency. However, killers that are original creations of Behaviour are able to be unlocked with ingame currency...such as the dredge, trickster, clown, and so forth, this applies to survivors as well. Do not worry however, you can still get the perks from the paid survivors you don't own with ingame currency too, albeit with weekly rng. There is a roulette that sells random character perks you can use on any other character.

This game is really fun and interesting to play. Be warned however westerners will most likely be utterly confused and lost when it comes to many of the things here and cultivation in general. I personally find it fun, because learning about a rich culture and Wuxia China is extremely interesting. Be prepared to be confused, but thankfully the game has ingame guides where people can post comments on objects and techniques! The game has passable English translations however there are undeniable mistranslations and awkward wording. If you like Rimworld, I'd give this a shot.

People are complaining about the AI, primarily, and bugs. Yes, it has bad AI as of right now, however the devs have been updating constantly to fix this issue. It's a good game, like mordheim but more modern.

It's literally just Halo, on PC. What more needs to be said?
