Ive had it in my library for a while, and i thought id replay it after playing Ace Combat on the Xbox. Its not overly realstic, and its really fun especially in the Dogfight mode and when you shoot an aircraft down. The camera will follow it, making an epic little scene of fire and fun. All in all, for £10, its a really good little arcade timewaster. I love it so far, just wished the multiplayer was a little more active. Ill give it a 9/10

War Thunder, possibly the best WW2 game out there.

War thunder is a great game. It has 3 Gamemodes, one for each type of player. Depending on what gamemode you pick, the difficulty will change.

Arcade: Multiple Respawns. You get given an aim assist marker to shoot at, making it a great place to start off. You can take alot of damage before being rendered useless, and can rearm everything mid-air. A fun, fast paced game mode for the more casual of players.

Realistic: A single respawn. This gamemode, you spawn on a runway or in the air, depending on what your flying. You have limited ammunition, take way more damage and flight models are significantly different than arcade. Damage is much worse, a little hit on your wing and you might not be able to turn. Oil leaking? Say goodbye to that engine. Guns jamming is a big thing, and you have to also monitor how hot your plane is, the fuel and your speed. Too fast and you will rip your wings. A great gamemode for the more experienced players, who prefer good, one on one dogfights. Not very fast paced till you get into action. My personal favourite gamemode.

Simulator: SB at the minute is not very good. Its full real controls. This means all of realistic restrictions apply, plus only cockpit view and no markers. Stalls and high G flatspins can happen. The problem with sim is that nobody plays Tier IV above, and it goes on for ages (2 hours +, you can get unlimited respawns.) Not recommended for the average joe, only very skilled pilots can do well in sim.

Now that i've explained everything, time for Pros and Cons:

Pros:
Incredible fun
A vast variety of tanks and aircraft
Alot of players
Very well designed flight models
Can keep you hooked for a long while
Constantly updated, every 1-2 months.
Battles are long and fun
A place for everyones skill group
No P2W, although you can buy things. It doesn't give you much of an advantage, as the premium machines will fight things at the same BR, which perform similar to each other

Cons:
BR Compression at Tier V is bad, the jet era right now is not worth it unless you have good 9.0's.
Can be long queue times
Bad Developers, they don't listen to community often.
Sim is empty
Can be frustrating at times when getting put up against better players
Ground Forces RP gain is too low
Very Grindy after Tier IV
Can be unbalanced, depends what BR.

CONCLUSION: This game is a must get for flying game fans. Its probably the best and its free. Bussian Rias eh comrade?? )))))
Rating 8.5/10
