As someone who went out of their way to 100% the main story mode and who got all the achievements I thought I should write a review for the game. Also I see that people are saying that the game is a bad port but in all honestly I had no issues besides my game crashing once. TLDR ON THE BOTTOM


To start off I think this is a great start to the ultimate ninja storm series, but because it is the start it comes with flaws. The the free battle mode is fine and fun to play, but when you play the story mode that's when the game starts to drag. The main missions are perfectly fine it's just the side missions that really makes the game obnoxious. Specifically the hide and seek and capture the target missions.... the hide and seek missions are rng based and since they can use the whole map to hide (except on top of buildings) it is frustrating even with the hints the game gives you. Capture the target are just a pain in the ass because you are slow and to catch said person you need to be on top of or past them. Now if this was one and done it would be fine, but if you want to get three stars for these you have to do them twice. Which is another point... the game gets repetitive, and the reason being is because the only way to get three stars on your missions is by doing them twice and completing the bonus conditions. If they had just given you the bonus conditions straight off the bat it would be fine but they don't. That's why this game gets boring and makes the experience worse than it really should be. All in all if you just want a Naruto game where you can just play the regular battle mode then just do the main story and a few side missions and you should have a great time with the game.


TLDR; Want to play a Naruto game to pass time than play the main missions and a few side missions. Want to complete the whole game get ready to rinse and repeat.

Overall in my honest opinion the game is a 6/10 and you should buy it when it's on sale.
