Hey igames, I've been following your L4D2 addons for a while and lemme tell you that you do an impresive work man, all of them fit in the vanilla experience, I love how you add and remove parts on the guns, those are the kind of tweaks I look for when I install mods, only a few of modders make these, like SherlockHolmes9™ and you for example, besides that, you're very wholesome when you attend the questions of the others, keep it up mate

Sounds good, I was just using the mods and they have very tiny issues like misaligned laser sights, or glitch through the floor due to their hitboxes.

i'm not really a experienced modder and they are made for random reasons and pretty much just experimenting.

@LuckyRoot i personally use .vtf plug-in for paint.net , there's like a tutorial about it on a steam guide pretty much.

what i do is this - i open up the .vtf file on paint.net , and there are frames, i keep the first frame, then save it with the parameters saved, and then that's pretty much it. .vmts are the parameters that set lighting, glossness, etc. i noticed that the separated mods i did are damn shiny and basically it's because i used the "default" parameters instead of the intended ones.

it's really easy once you get the hang of it.

Hey igames! If you don't mind me asking, do you have a recommendation for a guide I can learn how to separate each skin from L4D2 RNG weapon mods? You seem to be such an expert at it, and there are some shotgun mods with RNG shells I'd love to try separating the colors.
