For Honor. Probably one of the best original combat melee games that exist. This game was a great idea and I would love to share my ideas and opinions on all different aspects of the game.

Multiplayer / Servers

They have fixed multiplayer as there are now dedicated servers and they do try their hardest to get you in games with people of similar skill although when you start off you will most likely have a lot of games with people who are a way higher rank than you. I always have said that playing with people of higher ranks can let you learn off what they do but playing too many games with higher ranked opponents is annoying after like the second game because it is hard for a new player to block attacks and have an upgraded soldier.

It would be great if you could play with lower ranks but there are probably not enough of them. A really great thing is that on the multiplayer board you can play against bots in duels and there are lots of different things you can do in-game to train if you really want to get better. They offer a great tutorial for new people and great things you can go back into at any time for more practice.

Gamemodes
There is a good amount of things you can do online with other players. There are Ranked matches, 1v1 duels and 2v2 duels and much more. It's really nice to have 1v1 and 2v2 game modes already in the game, it can provide another great way for practice before you go into your ranked games.

There is also a great campaign that can be played alone or with another friend as co-op. Unfortunately 2 players in as much as you can play within the co-op campaign, that is you and a friend. It's great you can play the campaign as co-op although it would be nice to get up to 3 or 4 players playing co-op with you.

Visuals / Performance

This game looks stunning. The UI and in-game graphics look fantastic. The UI works well, tells you what you need to know and is fine-tuned for the average user, I can only think of one thing that bugs me. You can press space to skip things after games and to select so when you try to skip over the notifications after a match it can try to equip new gear you unlock for your character.

This game performs fine on an average PC. I play on a 1060 and a pretty bad i5 and I can get 50-60 fps on average on high settings. This is great, my CPU is dying and this game working at 60fps on it is amazing and shows good optimisation, Bravo.

You would think this would be fun, but every server is full with bots that cant communicate.

Rockshot

The idea behind this game is great and hopefully, the player base can grow so the idea can really work. The main game mode is raid in which to participate you have to either join a gang or create your own by owning a territory. When you play a raid game you have to attack other peoples territories to earn more money to upgrade your own territory by placing more structures. At the moment to start a raid you and the person being raided has to be online and both your gangs have to join otherwise it won't start, I have had a hard time finding a territory to raid because no one on the other team joins. This can be fixed by changing the list of territories to attack by which gang is online so it is easier to find a raid match.

Right now there are only 4 different territories which I hope expands into a whole map of territories so you can have a variety of maps when attacking people. The different territories all cost different amounts of money to own, but that doesn't stop you from attacking them.

The main mode is raid although you can play free for all and team deathmatch.

The weapons in this game need fixing, when you shoot somewhere you should get feedback and should be able to see where you are shooting but right now you don't really notice your bullets coming out your gun. You should be able to see exactly where your bullet is going when you spray at someone if this is fixed the gunplay will be much better. There should also be a penalty for running and shooting instead of a reward.

The weapons you unlock right now have time limits tied to them, say you unlock a weapon and equip it after a certain amount of time depending on the gun it will go. I'm not a big fan of this type of system. There should be a wide selection of guns from different categories that will always stay in your inventory at the least, then you can buy or unlock different types of weapons. This is the best way this type of system will work.

Melee is great in this game. You can actually take on a player with a gun if you have a melee weapon and are being smart, which is great!

The third person camera is amazing for a game in early access which is an amazing thing since the camera is the most important thing. If you walk up to a wall and look around it with the camera for cover it will smoothly make you take cover behind it and when you want to leave the cover it isn't too hard and is very intuitive. The one thing I would love to be added is a FOV slider that can fit anyone.

Overall this game is great and I would definitely recommend it to you. 7/11

Idle Heist, another game that rewards you for being offline. Tapping your screen is the main goal of the game and the only things you can buy without using real money is upgrades to give you more money per click or better crew members.

There is a lack of things to do with the money you earn which isn't too good, without actual upgrades you don't feel like playing. This needs to be fixed.

The background where you click is animated, but animated poorly it doesn't really look like something you want to look at. Not only is the background bad the UI overall is weak. Nothing really looks nice in this game.

In all this is another tap game which is really boring.

Best MMORPG I have played. I didn't really enjoy the genre until I decided to buy this game after seeing it on the front of the store and being interested in trying it out. It's really easy to get into and isn't too hard to figure out how to play.

The games quests never get boring and character progression is fun and makes you want to play more for better and cooler abilities.

Fun game to have on pc. Good game to play when you want to pass time.

Buggy movement and bad gameplay

Call to Arms is a top-down strategy game. You start off against another team and you have to spend credits that you earn as you play to buy vehicles or specialised units. You are able to order individual soldiers or whole squadrons of them. You can control where each soldier moves, where they should take cover or if they should throw a grenade/heal. This is quite nice that you have to make sure that your men are healed, it adds to the skill required to play properly and actually be good. This ensures that people who have played for an hour won't be able to kill people with 100+ hours very easily, because they won't be as coordinated.

The game isn't too graphically pleasing, and you should expect game stutters sometimes if explosions go off, I did see a little drop in the fps when you throw smokes down not so much if you throw a grenade. I averaged about 80-90 fps with a 1060.

Soldiers. Now before the game starts you have about 15 seconds to chose between an assault team or repair team which is kind of stupid because you would obviously choose the assault team and it doesn't take that long to chose one or the either when the choice is so stupid, it just delays gameplay, not by so much, but it can get annoying. There are other teams you can choose like Tank specialists, machine gunners and explosive experts who I believe carry rocket launchers. There is quite a selection although I have noticed the when you surpass like 5-8 teams you aren't able to acquire any more, which kind of sucks in some ways since you can't be some OP team that has almost everything in lockdown, it does have upsides like fair gameplay in most fights you have and it being easier to re-acquire stolen points.

Vehicles. As I have mentioned before you can buy vehicles. You can buy trucks and tanks, that's pretty much it. The tanks I think require you to also own tank specialists who would operate the tank for you. There are two types of trucks at the moment, one carries ammo for your soldiers and the other will transport soldiers around faster.

Servers. There were 4 servers I had seen that were online and I'm pretty sure they were hosted by people playing with their friends. 1 of the servers was full with 4 people on it, 2 were locked and the other had 2 players in it. You will most likely get loads of ping aswell if you don't live in certain places. I was getting bad ping on all servers. You could, I guess play on these servers if you live close to the others playing, but most of the people playing I think would stick to hosting their own servers for them and friends or LAN, If you don't have friends to play with you will be stuck playing with bots.

The price of the game is £22.99 which I don't think it is worth at all. You are probably best going with the more well-known titles that base around to the same concept, which you can get on sales for pretty cheap. A game I can think of is Company Of Heroes 2. There is a free version of the game that lets you play online and against AI, that's probably the best thing to do.

Overall you can have some fun when playing, but it's not as refined as other games you can find for a lower price and with actual updates. There is a bug where sometimes when an enemy or your soldiers walk near a wall half of their body will be able to be seen on the other half so people can shoot at you without you knowing that they are there.
