10/10 bloody spines for my meat bicycle.

Black Mesa may be the only true example of a graphics and engine overhaul becoming a legitimately better game than the original, with it's own incredible artistic direction. Buy it.

Looks pretty, lots to do and see, updated far cry 3 mechanics designed to sell you in-game currency for better weapons, and a mediocre story.

Fun gameplay loop, nice graphics, boring story. It's a good game that has no soul. Pure popcorn.

The first glitch I encountered was a fairly common one. An enemy I had just killed froze up, sitting crouched behind cover. The next glitch was similar, where an enemy became stuck mid-animation and would break the game if I tried to knife him. I had to reload the chapter. The next glitch caused the game to crash to my desktop every time I walked past a particular spot. I had to reload the chapter. The next glitch happened in a boss fight with a mother bear. I killed her and all but two of her cubs. The other two cubs were invincible, and continued chasing me around the arena soaking up endless headshots with my shotgun.

This is an incredibly immersive game. I'd even say it's an incredible game. I've played games with much worse glitches than this, but right now I feel robbed of what would have been an incredible experience playing this game for the first time.

I still recommend it tho... but take that recommendation with a big fat grain of salt.

Really great game. Spent 4 hours playing challenge mode and then died of hypothermia because I accidentally tried to harvest too much meat from a fresh kill. Perma death is not for everyone, especially if you can kill yourself in a UI menu because you hit a wrong key. The conclusion of an experience is supposed to most heavily influence your memory of it. Great game, solid immersion, wonderful experience. Just make sure to go into the non-story modes anticipating the potential loss of all your progress in a cheap unsatisfying manner.

Dishonored/half-life/bioshock/systemshock/notfallout76

Gorgeous graphics and overall art design. Gameplay is slightly more linear, but with a surprising amount of replay value. Removing the chaos system definitely changed the way I played, and fit the tone of the game really well. Definitely an underrated entry in this series.

This game isn't epic or particularly long, but it is beautiful and uplifting and filled with melancholy. It's an emotional trip.

Mods make this game 10/10.

Fallout 76 is a soulless cash grab. Buy this, stay far away from Fallout 76.
