For a free game, it's pretty good! You'll be spending money if you're into glam and cosmetics. Overall, it is enjoyable and even better with friends! The building aspect of the game is excellent!

I’ve been so hyped for this game ever since I saw it on Wholesome Games and was eager to try it.

I have a massive backlog of games, so I finally tried it in April 2023 in early access. The game is super cute and fun, and I thought it would be the entire game, but what you have access to is pretty short. It only took me a few days to “finish.” It also doesn’t take long to get used to the controls (I played using a controller). The characters, setting, and story draw you in. I was saddened that I completed the first part of the game/story, but I’m still able to farm to make monies and upgrade things..but it feels unfinished.

After I finished the first part and complained to my bf about the short story, I stumbled upon beta, and guys, it’s such an improvement! You can tell the devs are working hard on the game. The new features available in beta make more sense and..quality of life update..yes!!!

In regular early access, what you see is what you get in terms of gathering. However, in beta, there are shiny/unique versions of items that give you a chance to get more than one item on a pull. Plus, there are newer quests and home improvements/decor that I’m excited about. I can’t wait for more content! It’s such a cute and casual wholesome game. I enjoyed it, and I think you will too!

Also, I can’t wait to learn what’s happening with our candy friend.

This game is very similar to a survival game I played with Vikings, however, this one feels a lot more seamless. You can easily keep track of your journey by tracking the bosses you need to unlock new abilities and recipes. You have many different options to build the castle of your dreams, varying difficulty levels of bosses and mobs, lots of things to collect and gather, plus the graphics are pretty nice. I've lost countless nights of sleep over this game due to being immersed and feeling the need to complete certain personal goals toward my wicked castle and its growing collection of crafting stations, decorations, and useful servants.

I love this game and I think you will too.
