A blast to this date. The simplicity of the classic Need for Speed series, combined with action-intense events never fails to enjoy me. One of my favorite racing games.

For over 10 years, I was never disappointed with Codemasters racing games. I enjoyed every single title for their simplicity yet fun, and well-optimization.
I also have low standards for video games: as long as it runs smoothly on my PC, I barely criticize the game.
Here's the thing that GRID 2019 fails: running well. As I'm forced to use external drive to play games on my laptop (MSI GF63 Thin 9SC-i7), GRID 2019 has horrendously long loading screen, often fails to load textures for cars, and most importantly: it fails to load after two events.
This is not an issue with any other games, including every single DiRT I have in that exact same drive.
What even angers me more is that for the first four to five hours, the game went fine other than some texture loading issues. The game itself is very fun, dare I say I had better experience than Forza motorsport. But the longer I played, the loading started to take longer and longer until I hit the 'two-event limit'. Eventually I decided to give up on this game.
It really hurts to leave a dislike to a game I enjoyed playing... for a while.
