Good game, great devs :D

It's a fun game whilst I was able to play it. Unfortunately it crashed to desktop too frequently. I'll probably pick it up again once I learn of fixes or discounts.

Two people slap balls until one can't slap em' no mo

Been fairly interested in the game since its big money release. Found out it was on sale so I bought it with high expectation. The game crashed repeatedly on launch. Regret set in. Manage to get it working. Find out I need to sign up to a website to play the game. Tutorial Menu option unresponsive. Quit. Waste of time and money.

In order to post this review I had to repeatedly click the 'play' option (as the other method of launching I used didn't record my time spent playing), which gave me roughly 3 seconds of recorded playtime before the crash window came up, in order accumulate 5 minutes of official playtime needed to post a review. So angry with this game, I needed to do it to vent.

Avoid.

8 Years Later: Thought to give it another try, and still getting issues on a different machine. Trying to get into the tutorial gives me 'region at capacity' messages and sends me back to menu. How's this game still on steam?

When I bought the game I figured I'd love the vast base-building. I'd hoped it would resemble something like Prison Architect, and to an extent; Banished. But it seems more appropriate to say it's like Age Of Empires, as, with limited build time, I'm forced to hapazardly prepare for an attack from raiders, parasites, or one of my own crew. Taking into account this was in the easiest area of the game I could find.

After multiple restarts (I've barely played a single playthrough for more than 30 minutes), I gave up. This kind of game could steal hundreds of hours from me, but with the trouble I'm having constructing a fuctioning populace, and a decent-looking spacebase, that's not going to happen.

I'm convinced all Dota players are masochists, including myself. I just can't enough of that desire to drown small puppies before, during, and after every game I play. Would reccommend frequent anger management classes if you happen to play this game past the tutorial.
