These games aren't normally my cup of tea but there was a lot of hype around it so decided to give it a try. I'm not too much into base builders, but I don't mind a survival game and to be honest, this one is ok for me as a "switch off your brain for a bit" game. The premise of the game is you go in, you survive, you complete quests, upgrade/craft better gear and a base and progress through a story. If you have the settings turned on, the game can literally just hold your hand for every quest which is nice if you're not looking to commit any brainpower to it. Graphics are nice, combat is alright, enemy design is pretty cool, map is huge so there's plenty to explore and there's not really any performance issues to speak of.

Within the first hour I dealt swift justice to a cocky, arrogant little ♥♥♥♥ of a child with a perfectly connected right hook to his ugly, annoying face. I love it.

Super fun, really realistic graphics and a major learning curve with the gun mechanics/aiming. Early access so expect bugs but overall I like the gameplay loop and I look forward to seeing more out of the game! Definitely recommend for something different.

EDIT: Now at 90 hours and I bought the Supporter Edition because this game is incredible. It's addictive and the tasks are satisfying to grind. My only gripe at this current state (27/05/24) is that there are some bugs with quest items and some things are behind locked doors where the keys are very difficult to find or rare to spawn. Other than that, there are still some issues with servers but it's EARLY ACCESS. If you're going to buy an EARLY ACCESS game and complain that it has bugs then I'm sorry you can't comprehend what EARLY ACCESS means. These devs are working super hard on this game to make it even better. If you can handle a bit of aimbot AI, some laggy servers and other minor bugs for the sake of HOURS of gameplay and lots more content to come then you should buy it!

This game is not a Tarkov clone, or even a competitor tbh. It's got a hint of Tarkov but plays more like Arma Reforger and Ghost Recon: Wildlands combined. It's a bit more casual than your usual tactical shooters but it's easy to get into. If you're looking for a pretty chill PvE/PvEvP experience where you hunt quests, get loot and shoot stuff then this is for you! I've enjoyed it so far, only some minor hiccups but it has just launched so there will be bugs and server issues. Remember, it's early access, so you can't really complain when you know what you're buying into. Looking forward to seeing how it all goes!

I got in and the game is amazing.

Perfectly polished, Hades is an example of what a complete and finished game looks like. Incredible art, banging soundtrack, exhilarating gameplay and very interesting story.

It's the Last of Us, but on PC. What more could you want?
