They don't make games like this anymore.

State of the game was so bad, that they've decided to simply drop it to 1 developer that can't handle updates. Artstyle is dead, there are meta-weapons (for example "Syringe Gun < Blutsauger"/"Bonesaw < Ubersaw"), some weapons are completely useless on a battlefield. There are so many hats that at this point TF2 is poorly running even on mid-pc with fps config. Also some textures were simplified and look weird because they wanted to put more hats. Play Team Fortress 2 Classic instead if you don't miss tons of Summer/Winter/Holiday/Funeral cases.

Game's good, but hitboxes are just awful. You can shoot zeds in a body, but their head hitbox may fly far away from the model. Also Berserker and Medic suck, most people choose them not to help team, but rather "because they're imbalanced". Other perks require more skill to play, because when you choose them you're not damage-sponge.

This game used to be actually fun, but long time ago everything in PAYDAY 2 became good/bad in terms of balance. There are overpowered perk-decks, there are useless weapons, dodge/crit meta, armor's now almost has no meaning to use, tons of DLCs and they don't stop coming. Play with Restoration Mod or install 37.1 version instead, two great ways to make the game really entertaining and balanced at the same time.

I seriously don't get it why so much people would play the game where nothing changed for about 8 years already, same maps with most basic mechanics, when there are tons of other projects which are also competetive and worth trying. Community is mostly toxic and filled by angry russians, most skins are ugly, no use in paid graffities, also they've added microtransactions with characters and most of them dont fit at all too. I had some fun playing it before Danger Zone update, but when update was released a hell broke out. Big amount of cheaters even with Prime status, stupid restrictions, even netcode feels bloated when your ping jumps from low to high unreasonably sometimes, CS:S never had such a problem (since all servers are hosted by the community). Overall, it's just a waste of time when you have better options spending your time in games that are less frustrating.

P.S: after playing additional 50 hours i can say - shooting is really bad, sometimes even crouched and scoping while staying at one place sniper rifle won't hit a target (even though it's right in front of you), the AK47 is guaranteed headshot on first bullet, while shotguns are not for some reason (but you've hit a head with 2-3 pellets!). M249 is not worth buying at all, since Negev is much better and costs less, you also can hold your line of fire clearing enemy's nests with it. Also AWP requires no skill to use it, and there's no limits of how much team can buy (so most of time it turns into instagib game, once some team has streak of wins). Matchkmaking is awful, when it can literally throw 3 or 4 guys in other team with somewhere around 800-2000 hours, while you have 50. So it's always hard to rank up and it has no meaning, for a reason of bad system.
