Crow country is a charming survival horror experience that understands what made the original Resident Evil good and fun to play.
Anyone who enjoys classic survival horror experiences will most certainly have a lot of fun with this game.
Despite the limitations of a somewhat small game world, the game packs so much in many areas, and works hard to make the section memorable for you as a player.
While the art style is weird and unique, resembling the original FF7 more than anything, it is extremely surprising that the developers managed to create such a scary atmosphere with such an art style.
And while the combat system may take some getting used to, it adds to the tense situations, and quite frankly, is a very nice take on the combat mechanics of small classic survival horror games.
It could have had more to it, but the simplicity works real well for the game, and any more would start making it more complex of a game, something that could be explored in a sequel perhaps. But no worries, the enemy movement and the manual reload aspect will still keep you on your toes when combat starts!
The puzzles in this game are fun, I would say they are not the best, perhaps a couple of them were too vague to solve with the hints, but they were optional.
To cut it short.
It is a really fun game that understands the mechanics it has real well and manages to use all the aspects of the game really well, and that delivers a really satisfying experience in the end, and any classic survival horror fan is bound to love this game.

Inscryption is not your usual card battle game.
It is mixed with some rouge lite elements and small puzzles.
the game has a unique style and some fantasy story elements with a good number of mechanics that help it stay fun.
While there is a good chunk of things in it, the game teaches you the mechanics and the world around you quite well.
I see it as one of the best games I have played, and it is going to leave a good mark in the genre.
I highly recommend it.
While there are some random elements ( that cards you pull from your deck) you can really learn to make good strategies after playing it for a while and understanding the core mechanics.

A true unique and wonderful experience, clearly made with a great passion. has that unique flavour that is missing from AAA games.

Even if you are not a fan of deck building games I believe you will enjoy this game.
