A well made oldschool shmup, heavily inspired by the Truxton / Tatsujin games. Definitely deserves a look. (8/10)

Very cool, memorization based shmup, with interesting attack and score mechanics. Apart from the standard shot, you have also a lock-on melee attack and a powerful, rechargable bullet cancelling dash that can wreak havoc on your enemies. Everything is well made, your mech is not over powered and some serious dodging is required at times. There are three difficulty modes to suit almost every player's skill, each with its own local and online leaderboard. Highly recommended!
EDIT: After playing some more, as well as the release of several updates from the dev, improving the game and fixing bugs, I feel the need to increase the score from 8.5 to 9.5/10. As far as I'm concerned, this is a serious candidate for the shmup of the year award.

Expected zakichi quality shmup. You'll have to deploy your memorization and energy management skills in this one, in order to achieve big chains and score, in hyper or preferably, double hyper mode. The ship's energy is tied to your health when not in hyper modes, so there's also a little risk and reward involved as well. Normal and hard modes are available, featuring separate online leaderboards. Recommended! (9/10)

A very well made, Snow Bros inspired, arcade game, featuring various sporty characters to unlock and select instead of snowmen. There are 4 modes to play (Tour, Arcade, Hard arcade and Chaos), complete with leaderboards. Very addictive! (9/10)
EDIT: Arcade mode is indeed a true arcade experience and one of the best I've seen this year!

A wonderful modern take on an old NES action platformer. Excellent presentation, gameplay and design. Traverse through 6 levels, confront enemies by using your sword and chain hook or limited ninja gear (like bottled water, raw fish and... miniguns) lying around and defeat tough bosses. Highly recommended! (9.5/10)

A Gen-X gamer's wet dream must have collection. (9/10)

Become small and infiltrate the anthill in order to retreive your stolen eyeball! As far as video game plots are concerned, It does not get any cheesier than that! Jokes aside, this is a very high quality action rogulike platformer, with many things to explore and a large assortment of enemies to defeat. (9/10)
