While cloud-saves do not work yet and the game is far from finished I will give it a good review.

The driving physics are batter than in recent games of big studios and the world is just so detailed and feels awesome to drive/drift through.

While I think telling the story in little manga-strips is a bit cheesy, it fits the theme of the game.

Tuning/modifying the car feels very rewarding after earning your money after races or Sushi deliveries 😊

The story of this game is mindblowing. One unforseen twist after the other. For me this so far is GOTY.

Update on 17th of September 2024:

I purchased the ASUS BT adapter recommended by Sony which fixed all tracking issues of the Controllers. A few days later Sony announced that there is a driver update for the TP-Link UB500 which also apparently fixes the issue.

This reaction by Sony came waaaaay too late. Yet as now the experience is smooth and without issues, I corrected my review to a postive one.

Old review:

The right controller gets stuck in midair intermittently, no matter which BT adapter I use.

It must be a weird software bug - Sony please fix.

Happens unrelated to hardware but I tried these two adapters:

TP-Link UB500 (recommended by Sony)
LogiLink BT0067 (not recommended, but behavior is exactly the same)

I really enjoy the game and I am especially happy, that it is so well optimized for ultra-widescreen (32:9).

It is literally unplayable, if eigthy percent of the other players in a match have a 300+ms ping as they are playing on your global regions server, while they are half a world away. This makes the game feel very unresponsive and you miss all the shots while suddenly dying to their bullets.

Also the devs are overdoing skins. If your own teammates can be red or purple, it just distracts and is therefore in my eyes a very bad game-design decision. Skin the guns all you want, but not the spacesuits... who thought that would be a good idea?

It's just soooo good. Love it.

The best 2021 shooter. Triple A is dead, long live indie-games!

Having played the original back in the days, this was a nice hit of nostalgia. Really like the current version, just wish the stock market would show the current return of your investment as oppose to just the last tick.

Development has stopped again.

This is the best first person puzzle/adventure game I have played to date. Really like the story and the difficulty of the puzzles.
