There’s a great community and game here. I’ve not had this much fun playing a game with a bunch of randos in years.

I’m surprised that even in an unoptimized state, the game is playable on Steamdeck, although chaotic moments get choppy.

A truly remarkable early access title that feels quite polished and feature-complete! Valheim has learnt the lessons of open world crafting games and created a game that offers a satisfying progression, rewards experimentation, and above all exploration.

The building system could use work, but mods are readily accessible that offers excellent QOL in this area. I can't wait to see what is in store for a game that feels pretty complete already.

A shallow reskin of vanilla Civilization V lacking the benefits of all the expansion packs. Every part of this game feels unfinished, except for the glorious opening cinematic, which hopefully makes you realize the mediocrity of this game was not due to a purely cynical development team.

Watch the opening on YouTube and reflect what could have been a great spiritual successor to Alpha Centauri. Then go to GOG.com and buy Alpha Centauri because it is the better game in every way.

There's a deep rewarding game beneath some breathtakingly poor UI and iconigraphy decisions.

Nonetheless, if you're a fan of XCOM who also enjoyed the Crusader Kings series this game is right up your alley.
