The game is incredibly fun, especially when you're playing with friends/people who use mics. It's low stakes enough that you can ♥♥♥♥ around a bit and "Accidentally" kill each other a few times but high stakes enough to make you want to win and encourage teamwork. The whole living universe thing where you're under attack by two different enemies on different fronts with planets being attacked and needing to be Liberated means that there's always something to drop in to. It never feels like you've "finished" but also you can see progress in a tangible way that makes it satisfying to finish missions. Unfortunately right now there's a pretty firm meta and a lot of the off meta picks for equipment feel kinda bad to use. Not to say you can't use them but there are clear "best" things. I'm really looking forward to seeing how the game grows and progresses. The devs have already announced a bunch of stuff incoming including Mechs which I'm hyped for. As of yesterday I reached Max level (50) and as a few days ago I got all of the Ship Modules and as of about a week ago I got all of the Strategems unlocked. It's definitely at a point where you can realistically unlock everything available with about 100hrs of play but the game doesn't stop being fun once you unlock everything.

TL:DR, I strongly recommend this game, ESPECIALLY if you either have friends who play it or are cool with going on the Discord or elsewhere to find a group who communicates.

First off, this game is pretty different than ROR:2. If you've only played 2 and you don't like platformers then this honestly might not be the game for you. It is also way harder, just by aspect of it being a 2d game is it harder to dodge damage and kite enemies. That said, at $15 (or $12.50 at time of writing) the game is DEFINITELY worth a try and worth it to buy. The visuals are upgraded from ROR:1 and they've improved the game immensely by adding new unlockable skills for each survivor.

EDIT: I now have a 30 more hours sunk into the game and I can say with confidence, This is a great game. It is WAY harder than ROR2. The 2d gameplay makes avoiding damage way harder but also there is SO much extra content added from ROR1. The Providence Trials, while some of them feel like BS, are a lot of fun and are a welcome addition to the game. They add interesting gameplay which often feels VERY different than the actual game. VERY VERY Worth the $15.

I really wish it hadn't taken me so long to get a PC that could run this. Elden Ring is incredibly fun. I've got 68hrs at time of writing and am not even half way through the game. There's always something new to do and the difficulty makes the game challenging but not so hard that it doesn't feel good to keep trying. The music is great and some of the fights are truly breathtaking. Highly recommend.

Early Access Review
I've been having a blast with this game. It's simple but has an incredible amount of depth in terms of builds and runs. It definitely still has a ways to go as it works through Early access but it's most certainly worth the price.

I want to be very clear. I'm ONLY recommending the FREE base game. DO NOT SHELL OUT FOR DLCS!!! If you feel you cannot play without DLCs then look online for alternative ways of getting them.

Now that that's out of the way,
It's a Sims game. If you enjoy The Sims then you'll enjoy sims 4.

A enjoyable pirate romp for sure. One note I have about Sea of Thieves is that it is very much a "Make your own fun" type of game. There's not really any direction when it comes to what you should be doing when you log on. The game gives you a bunch of options but ultimately it is up to you to decide what content is fun for you and to do it. Also the fact that it is always online and you can be PVPed at any moment is another thing to mention. You can't play single player and making closed custom worlds that randos aren't in makes it so you can't earn rewards.

I've been loving Wallpaper engine since the day I bought it. I haven't seen any issues with PC slowdown. The workshop is extensive and there's backgrounds for any theme or interest field. Highly recommend

This game is a hell of a lot of fun. Fast paced roguelike looter shooter. It plays like Borderlands had a weird eastern inspired roguelike baby. Not the best analogy but hopefully you get what I'm saying. It has a good amount of progression as you unlock characters, scrolls, skills and weapons over time. It just released it's 1.0 update so now is a fantastic time to pick it up and have some fun!

Fantastic little game. It was incredible to be able to get that "thinking with portals" feeling again. You only get to play each portal game for the first time once. Playing through Portal Reloaded gave me that rush again and for that, I thank you. Definitely worth the time!!

I'll start at the end, I give Hades a 10/10.

Now for the actual review portion.
It's unsurprising that Supergiant Games made a great game, I bought Bastion on release and never looked back. Their game designs are innovative and addicting, their art styles gorgeous and smooth, their soundtracks live on my daily playlists even 9+ years later. Hades is, in my opinion their best game yet. It takes the innovation, beautiful story and visuals, incredible music and voice acting and everything else that makes a Supergiant game incredible and makes it incredibly replayable. I have(At time of writing) 73 hours in this game and I still haven't even unlocked the true ending. I'm still seeing all new fully voice acted dialogue every time I talk to ANY character. I'm still learning new things about the game and experiencing a ongoing story. That really says something, even for a roguelite. Most roguelites will give you the occasional bite of extra story, maybe once every 3 runs you find something brand new. But with Hades you get something brand new EVERY time you talk to ANY character throughout (Okay, maybe not Chiron but...). Another thing that REALLY makes me love this game is the attention to detail and how characters will directly reference your deeds and things in the world. An example(Gonna try and keep it spoiler free); I reached the final boss and their happened to be a fishing spot in front of them. They DIRECTLY referenced the fishing spot, mentioning that maybe if I defeated them this time that I would catch it and that if they were victorious then they would probably kill the fish for looking at them. And this is all fully voiced dialogue. That means someone at Supergiant was like "What if someone reaches the final boss and our randomizer happens to put a fish in front of them? We should write and record specific dialogue just in case that happens so the boss doesn't just ignore the fish. This is something I could see another dev putting in as a super hard to find easter egg. It's just incredible attention to detail. You can also tell that the devs just really care about their game. For it's price I'd recommend Hades to literally anyone, fans of story rich games, fans of roguelikes, fans of roguelites, even casual gamers because it is just that good and has so much to offer. The game also has a setting for those who may not be as good at videogames that makes the game easier over time so even casual players can experience the story and beautiful art. I feel like I could gush much more about this game but I'm getting tired of writing now, maybe I'll return and add more later. In summation, Buy this game, play this game. You will not regret it.
