You wanna build a ship?! Like a real honest to god ship that flies? A ship that smaller ships can fly into? Well hot diggity this game is it... So far.

I have a problem with how certain things seem to magically break in Multiplayer, but with constant updates (like, every Thursday) the game is getting patched quite well while new things are being introduced.

That aside, Space Engineers is pretty hella, and seeing as I logged more hours in it in one sitting than many other games I own, this might become an addiction to some. I highly suggest getting a few friends to play with you as well, as space is big and you are very, very, very small. It's lonely out there. Setting up a server is simple as starting a game like you would as single player. Heck, you can take your single player saves and change the settings so it becomes an online game that your friends can join. This, and your friends can save your save game. Use that feature as you will.

It's an innovative game in concept and at it's core; from how the game itself functions to the gameplay. I can't guarantee you'll find out how everything works right away, but that's also the fun of it I find.

You know it's kinda inspiring how some kid from the Maritimes made a video game based in their home province and it got big enough to have a Steam economy and all that; it's still getting updates and honestly, way to go.

Go play Unturned.

I'm stunned. After my disappointments with... Certain other modifications, this FREE mod seems to know what it's actually DOING. In Thinking with Time Machine, you basically have a Co-Op partner to work with in a relative way, and I guess I could call it teamwork, having to think ahead with your actions and pulling it off as planned. This game makes me think, which is kind of exactly what I've been looking for. The lack of instruction is supplemented in nice clean tutorial videos provided to you upon entering the chamber. This is good, because learning a gaming mechanic can be tough if not handled correctly, and this game actually handles it's introduced mechanic really, really well. Unlike other certain specific mods, like I previously mentioned.

The graphics are new. Like, surprisingly fresh looking. It's obvious that this is a continuation onto Portal's story, and without giving much away, everything looks even more modern than before. I'll leave you with that, but really, the new animations and graphics added in are supurb. They don't distract from the goal of the tests and contribute to the complete feel of the game.

One downside I found was that every so often I might get a slight stall in the game from a cube being destroyed or the like. I'm not sure what causes this, but it's not a often laid issue. Time-clone Chell's movements aren't 100% accurate to my own movements, but that's to be expected with of what memory the game has. She still performs most if not all tasks exactly as I want them to be without any hang-ups.

I can't say much about the story. This game is short enough to be considered a one-off addition to the game and you really need to check it out for yourself. I will say that the story doesn't get in the way of the testing, which to Portal 1's credit is a nice thing to see.

If you have Portal 2, install this. Play it after you complete the base game but play this mod. And remember kids, never pay for mods.

While it may be early access, DayZ does not get off from it being instantly recommendable. While trying to de-root itself from Arma II, you may as well download the mod for now rather than this standalone copy unless you really, truely decide that the developers should have this money. As it stands I probably wouldn't touch Arma with a ten foot pole anyway, so I am quite eager to see what might be considered functionality in future updates. However this feels slightly more disheartening than pre-ordering a game.
