This is one of those games where it gets progressively harder but you can rectify this by playing with one hand. Difficulty of the puzzles may or may not increase.... idk... I was more focused on the intricate story line and breathtaking plot...

This is a beautifully crafted gem. My only gripe with this game is that it doesn't have an online coop mode which is a real shame.

I barely made it out of tutorial and its pretty clear that this game is unplayable. There is a long few seconds delay when you use skills and you have no choice but to use them to kill enemies. I'm geographically locatied at Southeast Asia and its not that too far off from China, so you can imagine how the latency would be for anyone from either EU or NA.

I've never fished irl but I'm strangely addicted to this game. When starting out, please refer to guides and tutorials. Those as always, help you familiarise with the mechanics. Leveling is easy when you target specific fishes that generally give more exp or money. You need to pay attention to the details of your gear to land anything more than the basic bluegill and not break your line. Also the weather and time chart affect's the strike rate.

Paid dlcs for the most part, give you gear that you would otherwise not be able to get at your level. However, it is optional as you can get your gear without paying a dime. One of things I don't like is that you can fish with other people but you can't phyiscally see them in game. You only see them in chat. I'd say give this a try if youre interested in fishing. It's free anyways.

Wait till they optimise the game. If they're never gonna do that then wait till its heavily discounted.

This is a console port and it is a disappointing one. Firstly, the fps was locked but that was supposedly "fixed" after the patch. The patch worked for some but it didn't make any difference for others by the look of things. I've got an R9 290 with 16gb of ram and I still get low frames in the 20s while driving in the preset Optimal graphical settings. Seems to me that this game is not optimised for the PC. The initial keyboard controls were awkward, you had to press Delete key to whistle. That means you've gotta remove your hand from the mouse or wasd buttons. Either that or you'd have to have Edward Scissorshand fingers. It wasn't an efficient keyboard control layout. They fixed this in the patch, but it goes to show that not much thought was put into the PC version before release.

Then there are the bugs. Sometimes cars would start vibrating for no apparent reason or boats would have a vortex of water underneath them rendering the boat slow and useless. (Fxed that boat bug by restarting the game) For more bug examples just have a look at CrowbCat's youtube video titled "Mafia 3 Quality Control".

This game has pretty repetitive content it's apparent that it wasn't ready for release, at least not for the PC. It really does feel like an unoptimized early access game..
