I've been following this game from the early era of the F2P browser based version and it sure has been a rocky ride. What I can say is that long gone are the days of poor FPS, input delay, latency issues and bad maps. What defines this game as a good shooter (for me) is the vastly technical, fast-paced skill that's required to execute game-winning scenarios on the battlefield. It's challening, frustrating and intensely difficult to "git gud" at Verdun which makes it stand out in an oversaturated first-person shooter market.

So if you're the type who's into twitch shooting with high refresh rates and solid gunplay then I can finally recommend Verdun.
