It's far from perfect but it's miles ahead CarX Street. Servers are still a bit wonky, can log on just fine, but I do get the occasional disconnects here and there, performance-wise it's a bit bad, but turning on DLSS helped immensely (it comes with FSR2 by default), I'm holding up 80 FPS on Medium-ish, but I do think it's crazy how much VRAM this games eats up.

The gameplay loop is completely fine for me, I think this one plays like any other TDU, it's a refreshing breath of new air to the racing genre. I do think no offline mode is bad and I haven't been able to MM with any players at all (I'm in South America) but I literally don't mind, they can always fix this stuff down the line. I just hope they focus on ironing the performance issues soon.

AI thinks it's FlatOut 2, some terrible map design (there's a race on the Junior league where there's some sort of "corkscrew turn" which is literally impossible to clear unless you almost stop the car completely, otherwise you'll ram into the fence and get stuck, AI-generated stuff is lame considering how long the game took to come out, game is VERY grindy, it provides small rewards for races but requires you to pour down a lot of money, paying Fast Travel fees, filling up gas, swapping tires etc. I really wanna like this game, but it's impossible at this rate, it's literally a mobile game and a very expensive one.

Breath of fresh air in the midst of so much racing game slop, I felt the same sensation that I felt when I first played The Crew 1, I can see myself playing the absolute sh*t out of this game.

For all I care, this game could be mining crypto in the background and I wouldn't mind.
